Imagine going to work for an organization, but being asked to personally purchase your computer devise that you'll use at said organization.

This whole single adult thing is in a way hilarious to me. I really don’t believe the church knows what to do with single adults at any age. They can only comprehend people getting married as soon as they graduate high school or get home from a mission. The older you get and aren’t married the more of an alien you are to their community. Married people are always treated as superior and single people will be patronized and shamed. The crazy part is that people in most of the US are not getting married until their mid 30s or later. Some don’t get married at all. Interesting issue for the church. Basically it seems that married church leaders of single wards and branches are there to “parent” the single adults regardless of their age.

It is just sister missionaries who work at historical sites. They serve for a few months before going to their assigned mission. They are supervised by an older couple.
