Between 1830 and 1836, Mormon prophet Joseph Smith wrote corrections and additions to the Bible, called the Joseph Smith Translations, or JST. For example, he rewrote Genesis 50:24-26, and inserted a prophecy about himself.

"fruit of thy loins" like 12 times so awkwardly. He clearly didn't speak 16th century English naturally. He's trying so hard to match the way the KJV was written and sounds ridiculous. Edit: Moses was also a Levite and not scion of Joseph.

He is an amazingly poor writer compared to the inspired fishermen of the New Testament. Apparently his "Christianity" and the influence of the Holy Spirit had not been an education for him in the same way. My 7th-grade English instructor would have thrown this back at me with red ink everywhere.
