Here I talk about the doctrine of "Blood Atonement" taught by the Mormon church in the 1800s and even up until modern day.
This doctrine disturbs me SO MUCH! To take credit away from Jesus Christ and to say that His death on the cross was not enough to cover "certain sins" and that humans have to shed their OWN BLOOD to atone for them is absolutely evil and unbiblical and disgusting.
Mormonism is a very young belief system and yet it's history is corrupt to the extreme! And the church wants these things hidden. So let's expose them and seek after TRUTH.
Here's my RU-vid channel that has MANY videos on Mormonism and the LDS church:

Jessie - You are absolutely right about everything. Here's what you don't understand that I have come to realize. The truth hurts. I was raised LDS, served a mission, married in the temple, etc. I didn't know about the history of the LDS church because it's never been taught in church, seminary, the MTC, etc. Once you discover how much of a fraud Mormonism is it makes you angry and sad at the same time. I wish I could get my wife to see the light, but I don' think she can accept that she has been lied to all her life. Forget the thousands of dollars we donated in tithing. Its not the money that hurts, its the fact that the church was founded by an evil man who was portrayed to be good. But when you learn the truth some people think that you'll forever be separated from your family when you die. That's what really hurts and why I think many people refuse to accept the truth. I just hope that a loving god will never keep me and my family apart.

Hi Jeremy! Thanks for commenting and for sharing some of your story with me. May I ask what your beliefs are now? Are you searching? God will not separate anyone who comes to Him through faith in Christ alone, though His grace alone, for Salvation. All born again Christians will be reunited forever after this life is over. He is not willing for ANYONE to perish but wants all of us to come to Him with repentance so that we might be saved! The concept of eternal families within the LDS beliefs is something that holds huge importance to people... I know. I see it in many of my friendships with Mormons. But the fact of the matter is, it's all based upon a total lie and therefore is not true. To cling onto a lie may feel satisfying for the temporary moments of this life but it will not satisfy anything after death. Mormonism is a clear road leading to Hell. It's based on freemason Satanism and is pseudo-Christianity, meant to hold its members in and to control their every move...hide the past, control the present, and form an ever-changing religion that fits in with society. This is absolutely not of God! There is freedom and joy and hope to be found in Biblical Christianity! When you come to know the one and only true God of the Bible, you are finally able to see life clearly and with a solid reference point for truth. Please, if you are searching, may I suggest you listen to some of my pastor's recent sermons in 1 John where he very clearly shares the Gospel of Christ and what it is to know God? They can be found under the sermon section at bravechurch.co and my pastor's name is Jeff Schwartzentraub. Also, Jeff Durbin here on RU-vid is an excellent resource for good doctrine and Biblical teaching. He has a huge outreach to Mormons. Please don't lose hope! You and your wife can find, not only hope but FREEDOM by leaving a cult and coming into a real relationship with Jesus! There are amazing, solid churches that can become your new (real) spiritual family. If you don't know where to go, I suggest Baptist or a Bible church. I know I'm getting way too far ahead but I just care so much about your eternal souls and I will be praying that you have strength and wisdom in your quest to find truth. Reach out to me any time and I'd love to talk further! God bless your family. May you all seek Him. ❤

In all honesty... I think all organized religion is a lie and I'll be really happy if when I die I discover that there is life after death. Here's why I have a problem with the bible... Why haven't biblical type events continued into today's times? Also, there are so many things in the Bible that were reported, but are simply not plausible. Once example is Noah and the whole earth being covered in water. If that were true, then the ark would have been floating at about 30,000 feet (water would have been covering the highest mountain peaks on earth). The parting of the Red Sea... Lot's wife turning to salt.... and even the resurrection of Christ. Who has ever come back from the dead? I really want to believe in Christ, but it doesn't make any sense why in 2,000 years he hasn't come back and why nobody can recreate the things that he did. So I believe that if their is life after death, and if their is a God, then so long as you live a good life, are honest, don't screw people, etc. then you'll be worthy of living with Him again. I think of God as my father. No matter how bad I screw up my dad still loves me and is proud of me as long as I learn from the screw ups. I don't think God cares if you are Mormon, Jew, Muslim, Buddhist, Christian, Jehovah's Witness, Republican, Democrat, Black, White, Brown, Male, Female, etc. As long as you are good to his creations, he'll be good to you. That's my belief and hope.

You my friend are like many people in general today they grow up get comfortable while they go to church and I get that I believe the prophets of the church have stated and actually encouraged many times to seek things out on there own. I've been a member for a little over 40 years and I remember reading Church magazines with a lot of these topics that are discussed on these type of things is it the Church's fault that they not emphasize every point of church history during Sunday School or priesthood Relief Society young men's young women's and the sunbeams ? do you realize how long Church would take the members can barely take 3 hours every Sunday. no they teach the core of the Gospel do they not? But the church recognizes the situation at hand and are truly trying to make it easier for members such as yourself to get this information concerning church history. I know I must be the exception and not the rule and as I stated before I've been a member of the church for a little over 40 years and I remember Church magazines bringing up a lot of these subjects such as polygamy blacks and the priesthood etc etc unfortunately people throw the baby out with the bathwater

William - You asked does the Church teach the "core of the Gospel?" No they do not. They teach that you must be baptized, receive the Holy Ghost, pay tithing, receive an endowment, get married, and be perfect in order to be saved. That is NOT the gospel. The gospel is only through Christ's grace can one be saved. That's it plane and simple. There is no truth that you will be a God some day creating worlds, spirit children, etc. In addition, the LDS church has went to great lengths to cover up, conceal, and minimize embarrassing events in its history. They portray a young Joseph Smith carefully studying brass plates, translating them into a Book of Mormon. When in reality the History of the Church shows that Joe put a stone in a hat and looked into the hat, no brass plates anywhere nearby. Why? Because one is more plausible than the other. There are many, many more examples. Remember Jesus said that you can identify false prophets, who are wolves in sheep's clothing, by their fruits. He also said that the "truth shall set you free." What were Joe's fruits? When you know the factual LDS history you can clearly see the fruits and that they are not of God, thereby identifying Joe as a wolf is sheep's clothing.

I firmly believe my mother was molested by some elders in the 1930's or 40's. All her immediate family were raised Mormon, and followed it into adulthood excepting her and her brother. She would never disclose anything except to call it "that damned old cult". My Dad, wanting to be educated about it, bought The Book of Mormon, but couldn't get through it because Mama burned it. there's not 1 in a thousand mormons that know blood atonement was actually practiced. my retort is, "in utah under brigham, if it was not practiced, why wasn't it practiced? with a lot of mormons, if you scratch around enough, it's alternately accepted and rejected often in the same breath, as you quoted from heber c kimball at 13:40. that quote where he mentions blood atoning men according to their covenants is especially interesting, because mormons say they don't make blood oaths in the temple. well, they most certainly did at one time didn't they. thelma gear's ancestor was john d lee. john d lee was a bishop and blood atoner/assassin/danite for brigham young. john d lee was the man brigham gave the revelation to---- to blood atone the wagon train at mountain meadows. so the whole wagon train was blood atoned, which is another historical event the mormons alternately deny and accept, often in the same breath. today, you can join the mormons at the annual ceremony at mountain meadows. while you sing we thank thee o god for a prophet, you can look out over the graves of the 100 or so people who were shot down cold at point blank range, or had their throats slit from ear to ear so that their blood could be poured out upon the ground. then the atoners dipped their hands into the blood, and raised their arms up to heaven to give thanks to their god for letting them avenge the prophets unto the 3rd and 4th generations, as their temple oaths mandated. john d lee was the patsy that took the fall for the mountain meadows massacre. he was tried and sentenced in a court of law to be executed at mountain meadows. "aim for the heart boys, aim for the heart". he told the firing squad. after being betrayed by briggy, in the end he didn't give up the belief in blood atonement. he wanted his own blood to be spilt for his own transqressions. thelma gear reads a page from the diary of one of her mormon ancestors, "it was an especially grizzly sunday, 5 people were blood atoned today after fast and testimony meeting." the bishop of the ward was john d lee. he was also the blood atoner on that sunday. orrin porter rockwell, bill hickman and hosea stout and also a lot of other men were blood atoners/danites/assassins. the mormons can deny it all. but it was openly taught at one time. and under briggy in territorial utah, if it wasn't practiced, why wasn't it?

I love the bible verses after such wild stuff the founders of this cult said. On that note, I have a question that might be a good video topic: how much is the bible taught in mormon churches? I've heard various things but every time I tell a mormon it's not a Christian religion they play the "it says Jesus Christ right in the name." That infuriates me because the name of their church is a slap in the face to bible believing Christians and bastardizes Jesus. Another topic: What is your story? What are some of the best/most convicting things for mormons to hear from Christians? Does content matter or does a mormon have to be questioning and willing to listen? These aren't all random question haha I actually feel there is a huge opportunity for Christians to evangelize to mormons. A because they have a similar theological leaning in that they at least know the bible. B because they are SOOO nice, so engaging and willing to talk. I honestly feel really bad for mormons because they are SOO deceived by what (most of them) grew up in. And for a lot of them it's honestly not their fault.

I can tell you with certainty, that their knowledge of the Bible is minimal and whatever of it they know, it is interpreted by the gross distortions Smith put on the text. I was a LDS member for close to 20 years, raised as LDS and now I have been a biblical Christian for another 20 years. I am just a regular person, not a biblical scholar by any means, but I do believe the Lord has placed in my heart to make videos about specific teachings in the Bible for them to compare with Smith's teachings, comparing the biblical perspective with his. It is hard to address what is best / most convicting things to share with them. For one, they are indoctrinated to receive any and all "negative" comments on their faith as demonic. And that they put their own faith in risk to be shaken by Satan if they entertain those comments. And as people, we are all different, so it depends on the individual. But they do need to come to know what the Bible says. Smith said the Bible has been corrupted by evil men and cannot be trusted 100%. They need to learn how that is not true. I plan on beginning to film next week and covet prayers because I have come up against a considerable amount of warfare on this. I am so grateful for the Holy Spirit's guidance and for Jesus' willingness to use regular people to advance the cause of the Gospel. Blessings!

For me it was the Book of Abraham, Joe's manipulation of Helen Kimball, racism, the translation methods of the BOM, no evidence of events in the BOM, and the church acting as a corporation. For my wife, I think she chooses to stay because is less painful than accepting that Mormonism is a fraud.

For since the creation of the world God's invisible qualities-his eternal power and divine nature-have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that men are without excuse" (Romans 1:20) if perhaps, you think for some reason a scripture might help, share it with your mormon friend. but don't get too upset if they don't understand it. remember, they have been programmed. there are other ways to give a witness of the one true God. utah lighthouse has a short one page list of mormon doctrines showing how their scriptures contrast. it's short. if you have a friend you may be able to open up a friendly conversation to get his view on the subject. as far as the name jesus in the name of their church. google first doctrine and covenants and share the wiki with your friend. show him the first doctrine and covenants was printed by the latter day saint church. the name of jesus was entirely taken out of the name of the church. so if it is really important, and there was an apostasy in 1835, the restored church has to be restored again because of apostasy by joseph smith and sidney rigdon and the whole church. by the way, i know exactly how you feel about that name thing. as far as does content matter/what is the best way? in my opinion the best mormon de programmer in the world is sandra tanner. that woman has the patience of a saint. and she wrote the book. she knws everything about the mormon church. what is her success rate over the past 60 years? minimal until now. these past years have seen more mormons leave the church than ever before. that means if you have a heart for mormons, if you can show them, if you can be a witness to them in a kind understanding way, they will respond. God's hand is in it. God is moving now.

I just want to clarify something, the quote "from" Joseph Smith were compiled after Joseph's death. Brigham Young was a dirtbag and G.A. Smith was one of Brigham's followers. So I don't really trust anything those two say of what Joseph Smith said, so I don't take that as a reputable source. Everything else you say is exactly accurate about Brigham Young and after. But Joseph Smith WAS in a position to make those laws on the saints, but never did, because that's not what he stood for.

A bold move to mock McConkie for complaining that critics take 19th century church leaders out of context, and then immediately proceed to take McConkie out of context. After the quotation of McConkie given he went on to say the following: "But under certain circumstances there are some serious sins for which the cleansing of Christ does not operate, and the law of God is that men must then have their own blood shed to atone for their sins. Murder, for instance, is one of these sins; hence we find the Lord commanding capital punishment." And thus we see that McConkie was advocating the death penalty as a function of the state, not the church. And while I don't agree with his personal opinion regarding capital punishment and the Lord supposedly "commanding" it, it nevertheless coincides with his point that, "wicked and evilly-disposed persons have fabricated false and slanderous stories to the effect that the Church, in the early days of this dispensation, engaged in a practice of blood atonement whereunder the blood of apostates and others was shed by the Church as an atonement for their sins."
@itsmejessie
@itsmejessie 5 лет назад
Thanks! 😉 How do you know he's making it a state issue? That next statement doesn't change the context at all. He's clearly saying "Christ's atonement wasn't enough for certain people. Those people have to shed their own blood" aka "blood atonement." Period.
@itsmejessie

And you cut off part of that second quote... he added, "it had never been TAUGHT." Not simply denying that it had been practiced.
@PatristicArcana
@PatristicArcana 5 лет назад
@@itsmejessie Because that's what the definition of capital punishment is: government sanctioned and executed. If one reads McConkie in context, then one sees that this was his entire point; the Church neither practiced this, nor did it teach Latter-day Saints that they should put it into practice as a function of the Church. He was very particular on that point, as we have seen.
@itsmejessie

@@PatristicArcana I'd like to address the video's main content: your focus is totally on McConkie. You have totally ignored the doctrine taught by Brigham Young, Jedediah Grant, Joseph Smith Jr., Joseph Fielding Smith, Heber Kimball, ETC. They all clearly taught that blood atonement was essential and "from God." It's all through the Journal of Discources, among other Mormon historical documents. Do you deny this?
@PatristicArcana
@PatristicArcana 5 лет назад
@@itsmejessie It was your treatment of McConkie with which I took the greatest exception, but sure, let's talk about the others. The early theory of blood atonement was built on the underlying principle that there can be eternal repercussions for a few especially grievous post-baptismal sins. This has actually been an in-house discussion among Christians ever since the second century: How many times can you expect to commit post-baptismal adultery, murder, denial of the Holy Spirit, etc., and still expect to be forgiven? Even if God grants forgiveness in the next life, does that mean that the Church should extend ecclesiastical forgiveness in this life? If the Church does extend ecclesiastical forgiveness, how long should the period of penance first be? These were all legitimate questions in the early Church, and each position had their proponents among orthodox Christians. The early Latter-day Saint ideas about blood atonement were another theory in attempting to answer these questions. And it was just a theory; you have had to find recourse to the 'Journal of Discourses' because such statements are not to be found in the 'Doctrine & Covenants' which is the official source of Latter-day Saint theology and practice on such matters. Consequently, no Latter-day Saints are obliged to agree with such particulars.

Here's one example of an egregious statement of their prophet Spencer W. Kimball who once said the Natives that were raised in LDS placement programs have become white than those who remained on their reservations. (1960 Oct. Spencer W. Kimball Conference Report): "“The day of the Lamanites is nigh. For years they have been growing delightsome, and they are now becoming white and delightsome, as they were promised. In this picture of the twenty Lamanite missionaries, fifteen of the twenty were as light as the Anglos; five were darker but equally delightsome. The children in the home placement program in Utah are often lighter than their brothers and sisters in the hogans on the reservation." Quite silly supposedly coming from a man of God.

I’m LDS and I’m glad you are raising awareness. My ward has been pressuring me to give blood against my will. They are using the excuse that all members must give blood as Jesus gave in order to be saved and forgiven. 3 times I emailed my relief society telling them sometimes harshly, that we DO NOT need to give blood to charity to be saved. I have a toxic history with my ward because I used to be a toxic person before I got psychiatric help so I have a negative reputation at my ward unfortunately due to this so nobody’s taking me seriously but the members laugh at me and mock me saying I’m in sin for refusing to give blood claiming the Book of Mormon says only after all we do are we saved. They are misinterpreting that verse. It literally says we are saved by GRACE ALONE after all we can do. That verse doesn’t mean we have to do works to be saved. That verse means we do the best we can on earth to serve God and after we die, grace alone saved us after doing our best to serve but the members of my ward keep sending out emails saying we must give blood as Jesus gave or our sins aren’t covered. That sounds so cultish! Friends of mine, in other LDS wards in different states checked with their bishops and NONE of their wards believe this nonsense and told me blood atonement is NOT condoned by the church or the prophets but they said unfortunately if my ward believes these cultish things it’s best to get out of there and find another church since the church has a policy nobody’s allowed to switch wards unless they move into another district. I do have an all black Methodist church down the street and an apostate church but the apostate church is racist against blacks and the Methodist church doesn’t allow white members. I’m in the south so it’s all southern Baptists, Methodists, Apostates and Mormons. There aren’t any other churches in the area I live in. I’m just in shock and getting bullied by my ward for standing up for the truth. People at church already feel like I’m manipulative, toxic and they don’t believe me about my problems because I’m autistic and have PTSD and I tend to have problems with everyone in my life due to struggling to interpret things correctly due to the Asperger’s and they feel like I blame everyone for my issues when the reality is I blame myself for everything including other peoples actions and they tell me to take responsibility for how other people act and tell me it’s my fault how people act because I get defensive with everybody. My therapist and psychiatrist says there’s NO WAY all these problems are my fault because it’s take 2 people to fight. They think I’m for some reason attracting other toxic people because I don’t get into fights with friendly people. It’s only judgmental people I can’t get along with. Regardless, weather it’s my fault, everybody else’s or both, these emails have to stop. My LDS friends from the good wards advised I go inactive awhile and block these emails so that may be what I have to do 😢 My bishop and second relief society counselor and relief society President and everyone in the ward except my parents agrees with this blood atonement thing unfortunately so my parents aren’t able to help me. Members are shunning them too for refusing to accept this blood atonement nonsense. It’s ridiculous. That being said, when the church was originally built, polygamy, racism and blood atonement didn’t even exist. Freemasonry was brought into the church after Brigham Young corrupted Joseph Smith. Church became a cult after that, was restored to Christianity in 1975, and now, it’s becoming a cult again. Our prophet even said at conference last year that the outdated temple rituals must STOP and he has told members to stop believing works save them and has said grace ALONE brings salvation and exaltation but members refuse to let go of the outdated beliefs. They won’t listen to our leaders who have said repeatedly NOT to follow works based doctrine. It’s just really messed up. I always believed this church was true because I never felt the Holy Spirit in ANY other church or religion and I only ever felt at home in the LDS church and the Bible always brought me confusion and the Book of Mormon is the ONLY scripture that makes logical sense because it has no contradictions. People who aren’t LDS completely misunderstand it. I truly do believe the Book of Mormon is the word of God. It was NEVER part of the Bible, therefore those who say it was added to the Bible are mistaken. It’s literally a different set of scriptures and no different than the catholic gospels and the Q’uran. Plus, that Bible verse was about revelations NOT the entire Bible and the Book of Mormon was foretold in Isiah. Joseph Smith didn’t even write the Book of Mormon so it’s unfair to say he was a con man because all he did was translate it. That book has been around for centuries. Nobody knows who wrote it and people can try and prove it wrong all they want but my dad is a scientist and even he says scientific data CAN be faked. So I don’t believe these ex Mormons for one minute about that. Now, I’m sorry for what they went through but they went through outdated rituals that aren’t even legal. Our prophet is trying to overturn that stuff but nobody’s listening to him. I still believe this church is true, but I also believe individual wards and temples have been corrupted and misled. The churches doctrine itself is still true but it’s the wards and temples and members that are being misled by their own beliefs and way of thinking. Our actual leaders have spoken the truth but nobody listens. I will never leave this church because I have never felt the Holy Spirit in any other church. I have had NDE’s/Dreams due to out of body and near death experiences and spiritual before so I’m aware of what awaits me in heaven, hell and the spirit world so I honestly don’t care where I go in the afterlife at this point. So many people have told me I’m going to hell for being autistic and Mormon that I just don’t care anymore. I can tell you however that after these experiences I converted to spiritualism. There’s things I witnessed that I can’t speak of. However, I can tell you the Mormon church is just as true as any other religion on earth. Our God is just and merciful. People will be surprised at who’s saved and who isn’t because God looks at our hearts not our actions. He doesn’t care what religion we are as long as we accept Jesus as lord and savior. You want the key? Love God with all thy heart and soul, accept Christ as lord and savior, Baptism, repentance, forgiveness of sin and loving others. That’s all that is required. Works and faith don’t save anyone. If we would all love each other and just follow Jesus instead of judging each other, the world would be a better place but at same time we must be willing to stand against evil and false teachings so it’s between a rock and hard place. So no matter what we believe, we need to respect and love each other but yeah I’m considering leaving my ward for sure because this nonsense is getting ridiculous.

I don’t normally comment on loads of things but love your vids, the hard evidence is there! I’m glad to be out now but feel for the great people I met in there and I hope they will end up seeing it for what it is, satans church! A good friend of mine from there and me have been discussing it, cos do want to try and shed some light but also don’t want to hurt there feelings, but he said the Book of Mormon and bible go hand in hand? Yes maybe in the fact that there both books! Ha But even in the intro of BOM it says Joseph said that this book is the most correct book of any other religious book on earth when he’s a liar, the bible is (not to go against any other religions) but it makes me sick they call themselves Christian’s when the doctrine and everything else proves there not but great vids:) x

It’s NOT Satans church. I know from personal and spiritual experience the church is BOTH true and false. Now true, satan has hold on certain MEMBERS but the church itself has always been Christian. God revealed this to me himself in a very peaceful spiritual experience. I have NEVER felt the Holy Spirit in ANY other religion or church. The Bible brought nothing but confusion. The Book of Mormon brought me peace. My god daughter was an atheist because of the Bible and the Book of Mormon brought her back to God. That being said, it is the temples and wards that are controlled by satan not the church itself. In fact our church leaders have said multiple times that the outdated things in some temples and wards NEEDS TO STOP. Our leaders are desperately trying to speak the truth but members won’t listen and these same members bully other members who speak the truth. The church is half cult half Christian at this point. Half of it is controlled by satan and the other half follows Jesus. I’m in the half the follows Jesus and rejects all false teachings. I chose to stay because I believe God WILL restore this church back to Christianity someday. I did ask God multiple times if I should leave and each time something pulls me back saying “where would you go?” and I get a peaceful loving feeling to stay to help lead other members back to the light. Not all of us follow satan so it’s unfair of you to judge the entire church as satanic because not all members do. Many of us choose to stay and reject church teachings for Jesus. We get shunned for it but we don’t care either so don’t label an entire church as a satanic cult because not all members are like this. I do still read my Bible frequently but I only get confusion from it. To be honest I don’t care if I go to hell or not because of what I been through. I feel like I deserve hell so it doesn’t matter what people say 🤷🏼‍♀️ You and others can judge and pray for us all you want but if the church is indeed true, and it’s simply misled, we are still saved. My Mimi was Mormon/LDS when she died and I know she is saved because she came to me in a dream and said she’s ok so the church isn’t satanic. It is the MEMBERS who choose to follow satanic things. It’s the MEMBERS who are deceived not our leaders and the church itself. As far as Book of Mormon being most correct, what that means is it’s the ONLY one that was never mistranslated. There’s different versions of the Bible and many contradictions. So Joseph wasn’t lying when he said that. Joseph wasn’t even around when the Book of Mormon was written. He only translated it. Pray if you must, but at this point, in my case, I have been a member of every religion in the book except Judaism and Islam and Mormonism is the ONLY place I felt God with me. I carry so much heartache and disappointment that I don’t care where I go in the afterlife. My psychiatrist is an atheist and she told me go where I feel most happy. I’m an LDS spiritualist now which means I pretty much worship God my own way so yeah 🤷🏼‍♀️

If something in the church is even one particle wrong then Christ has said that it is not of Him. There is no such thing as a half cult, it's all or nothing. You my friend are in for a very unpleasant revelation when you go to eternity because you will be sharing in Satan's punishment and burning for the rest of your existence in the Lake of Fire. William: "Mark 3:28-30"--Mark 3 explains how the one true Lord (of the Bible) Jesus heals on the Sabbath. Verse 28 only furthers affirmation of Biblical (non-LDS) truth that Christ does indeed forgives all forms of sin. Which destroys Brigham's heresy of "blood atonement" doctrine. Verse 29 again, supports the Biblical truth that the Holy Spirit is part of the Triune Godhead (Trinity) given its holy divinity. Nothing in this entire chapter supports Young's heretical practices of racism & blood atonement. I will address Luke 12: 8-10 in my next comment.

William Cammer: "Luke 12: 8-10"--Luke 12 teaches the omniscient of God knowing all things as well as Him caring for all who seek Him. Verses 8-10 speaks of the Lord Jesus. The "Son of Man" is a reference to one out of several of his divine titles given to Him. The Son of Man source here: www.neverthirsty.org/bible-qa/qa-archives/question/what-does-son-of-man-and-son-of-god-mean/ You've just proven our whole Biblical Christian point on the divination of Christ. BUT; where's the correlation to Young's racist heresies on "dark skin" & satanic "blood atonement"? I don't see a connection. Other than you destroyed your own argument with these passages. Talk about walking talking contradiction.

William Cammer: In the other thread, which you probably deleted. You've brought up the subject Council of Nicea in regards to the Doctrine of the Trinity. You do realize that the sole purpose for this meeting was to *affirmed the deity and eternality of Jesus Christ and defined the relationship between the Father and the Son as “of one substance.” It also affirmed the Trinity-the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit were listed as three co-equal and co-eternal Persons* Because of a heresy that was being taught among other churches before this meeting, known as Arianism from a heretical bishop named Arius? Arianism is closely synonymous to modulism, which is what Mormons believe in. This is an unbiblical concept denoting a form of Oneness and the nature of God. How do you define the Mormon version of the "Trinity"? (Heavenly Father, the Son & Holy Ghost).

I think it's disturbing that you are willing to state "true" or "not true" emphatically when discussing 2000 year and possibly mythological events. You have no idea who kicked Judas, you simply believe what you were told to believe and *feel* is correct - however there are many more people on the planet that would tell you that what you believe is "not true" because of what they were told and what they feel. You can cherry pick any doctrine and find poison; nationalism, a religion, a political idea. Judeo-Christianity has no shortage of ugliness, nor ugly actors. Speak your truth, by all means, but before you cast stones take stock.

What Mormons teach about the birth of a handicapped Child and minorities especially in third world countries "This privilege of obtaining a mortal body on this earth is seemingly so priceless that those in the spirit world, even though unfaithful or not valient, were undoubtedly permitted to take mortal bodies although under penalty of racial or physical or nationalistic limitations...." (Decisions for Successful Living pp 164-165) TLDP: 497- Harold B. Lee “There is no truth more plainly taught in the Gospel than that our condition in the next world will depend upon the kind of lives we live here. …Is it not just as reasonable to suppose that the conditions in which we now live have been determined by the kind of lives we lived in the pre-existent world of spirits? That the apostles understood this principle is indicated by their question to the Master when the man who was blind from his birth was healed of his blindness, ‘Master, who did sin, this man or his parents that he was born blind?’ (John 9:2.) Now perhaps you will have a partial answer to some of your questions as to why, if God is a just Father, that some of his children are born of an enlightened race and in a time when the Gospel is upon the earth, while others are born of a heathen parentage in a benighted, backward country; and still others are born to parents who have the mark of a black skin with which the seed of Cain were cursed and whose descendants were to be denied the rights of the priesthood of God” (Harold B. Lee, Decisions for Successful Living, pp. 164-165).

i'd like to make a few far out comments on this one, if i may,.. There are solar religions/solar cultures (cults) and there are lunar religions and ther are a few that focus more on the combination of the two. Solar is patriarcal and Lunar is matriarchal. the new moon, the dark goddess has her shadow phases, is more introspective and subtle, more connected to the root as in the darkness under the earth or within the womb. nature is wild and untamable, can not be controlled - this is the source of some solar religions abstaining from dance or certain kinds of music, tribal music that has a rithym that the body and heart beat syncopates with and our body is compelled to move of its own accord, the lower body, the hips, the erection even. it is that uncontrolled quality that is deemed evil. this is also why women are deemed evil by solar cults and are forced to cover their bodies so that men are not compelled "beyond their control" and why a woman was considered at fault if a man raped her so long as she was at least considered to have been dressed provocatively. cultures that thrive in tune with nature as tribes, in harmony with the land, that do not waste resources are most often matriarchal communities, communes, socialist orders where the tribe and conservation of resources come first, and the men are kept at a certain distance for the childrens needs to be met first, for the entire community needs to be met, otherwise, men will eat all the food and sometimes will be lazy and not hunt for food at all unless sex is withheld from them. patriarchal cults will consume everything and waste resources, (the way the sun will burn us up if we do not have the proper shelter). winter solstice the sun recedes to the lowest point of the horizon and appears to not move, in darkness for three days, upon which its ascension signals the ressurection of spring... im rambling because there is too much info to cram in here,,, solar cults, patriarchal cults are historically self serving, slaughtering and enslaving all nature based religions and peoples and deeming their independence as demonic, how satan got his "horns". here is the biggie for me this general conference- the last speaker called lucifer - BLUECIFER Lunar cultures have blue deities. look up the word cypher and you will see black people dancing in circles in celebration of cycles. he also said that the blood sacrifices of unblemished lambs are not sufficient and that they ask for broken hearts instead. broken hearts are a dime a dozen when your religion lies to you and cuts you off from nature.

Intent. Gossipers often have the goal of building themselves up by making others look bad and exalting themselves as some kind of repositories of knowledge. 2. The type of information shared. Gossipers speak of the faults and failings of others, or reveal potentially embarrassing or shameful details regarding the lives of others without their knowledge or approval. Even if they mean no harm, it is still gossip. In the book of Romans, Paul reveals the sinful nature and lawlessness of mankind, stating how God poured out His wrath on those who rejected His laws. Because they had turned away from God’s instruction and guidance, He gave them over to their sinful natures. The list of sins includes gossips and slanderers (Romans 1:29b-32). We see from this passage how serious the sin of gossip is and that it characterizes those who are under God’s wrath.

Jessie, you have no credibility. The CES letter is authored by disgruntled Mormons who have an axe to grind. It comprises unreliable (unverifiable) third party source material, which purposefully portrays Mormon teachings out of context. Mormons, who feel guilty about wanting to renege on their moral commitments, use the CES Letter as a rationale to leave the church, because in reality they've adopted a “worldly-overview”, and the distortion of the CES allows them to “sin” without actually owning their decisions as long as they can blame the church. Cognizant dissonance is patently sanctimonious, but that is the disingenuous world we live in. John Dehlin’s immutable behavior sets the tone for his kabuki play, where departing Mormons lament over the grief of losing their close knit community while framing their morality cult as freedom from the a high demand church. He became a Mormon critic after adopting feminist concepts that encourage an acceptance of sex outside of marriage and homo-sexuality, which by any constraint mocks the Christian Bible teachings and embodies the Anti-Christ, Anti-Family challenge of our time. Dehlin portrayed his disdain for Bible teachings by criticizing the leadership for not allowing women and the LGBTQ members to hold key administration and teaching positions in the church. When Dehlin was unceremoniously excommunicated for his condemnation of the Churches’ refusal to adopt his secular reforms, he became yet another enemy of Mormonism in its righteous endeavor to restore the family culture.
