Our Traveller is the same age as yours and it is a genuine almond green car - which apparently they stopped doing a while before as well! I don’t believe any of it! Also the glove box liners - when you put them back in a sheet of heavy polythene sheet protects them from water damage - it seems all the drips and leaks are aimed at then - especially when they are new! Good luck and nice job.

@@motorphile9817 I think a lot of what is dripping onto the liner is condensation I put lots of insulation up under there as well - at least it’s easy to get at!

your traveller was originally Trafalgar blue

Hello Michael - thanks for the interest in the work on the Morris. You raise an interesting - and perplexing - topic. I believe they stopped using Trafalgar Blue at around chassis number 1286537. My Traveller is later than that and was built at Adderley Park rather than Cowley. The interior in the car is limeflower and the records indicate that the combination for the Adderly Park Travellers with chassis numbers like mine was teal blue and limeflower interior. The build records for Adderley Park Minors were all destroyed - so no individual heritage certificate documents are available. Sad. Here is where it gets interesting - As I understand it, Trafalgar blue is even darker than teal blue. I had some teal mixed up using the BL-Rover paint code. It is pretty close match to the original paint inside the gloverbox doors and other hidden spots. But... it does seem just a wee bit darker than the original paint that I can find on the car. In any case, both blues are lovely. As I cannot find a trim kit in limeflower (and I am not keen on it anyway), I am going with a light blue interior - which would have been correct for a Trafalgar blue exterior - oh well... Thanks again!
