Honestly, you're my try before you buy guy! When food items like these and sausage rolls etc can't fit in your freezer, ziplock bags are a winner. Cut or tear off the cooking instructions and place it inside the bag 👍🏽
There was always going to come a time with how the channel has rapidly grown to not reply to everyone and I'm sure most won't mind and will continue to enjoy the content. Great review as always even if you did mix them up 😆👍

Either price is brilliant if the content is good bearing in mind that Gregg's sell hot steak slices for over £1.50 each. I like that it is cardboard packaging rather than plastic. TIP - when you are stuck for freezer space take things out of the pack, drop into freezer bags and squeeze in any available spot. I do it with lollies, chicken breasts, chops etc.

The Aldi one in this case certainly looks more appetizing too with the egg wash. My mouth waters every time you do something like this. They don’t “do” pies where I live … 😢
I have subscribed to your channel I find it very helpful, I don't go shopping anymore I get it delivered, I'm 76 and my knee is playing me up, I've also fallen over and fractured my right wrist and I'm right handed😂🤣, my daughter is very good and comes round to makes me a cuppa tea and vacuums, although she has to work. Just bought an airfryer not an expensive one like yours, a tower 4ltr, the drawer kept getting stuck so my daughter took it back to argus and changed it, it was nice seeing your Mum and Dad and hearing your good wife, enjoying your vlogs very much keep it up 👍😊👏👏
Aldi has put there prices compared to last weeks shop :( what would usually cost me £120 just cost me £139. Formula is up 50p a tin. Bread is up 11p. Almost every item has had about 4p+ added on. I hear your in Cumbria. Me too. Near whitehaven.

I think you're right Sue, I was in a grocery store awhile back & was chatting with the bread delivery guy stocking shelves. He said his co also makes the store brand bread & it's packaged as such but sold at a cheaper price. Greggs could sell their steak bakes to Aldi's?

u can go wrong ,what counts as " steak " is a grey area ,i had cheaper and had more chance of lumps of fat and gristle in the mix ,morrisons and tescos much less

What I do is take them out of the boxes and indivudually bag them and like one of the other foodies said jam (or place them gently!!) them into the freezer where you can fit them. Now to ensure you have the cooking destructions (oops sorry instructions), I cut out the section on reheating/cooking from the box and put the name of the product on the back of the cardboard and put it in a drawer, you can also buy tags to write on the products' freezer bag. Actually they both looked very nice and would make an easy meal, add some mash and peas or beans and you have a quick tasty dinner with very little effort. 🇦🇺🇦🇺😷😁🇦🇺🇦🇺

Good vid as usual mate,Yeah don’t wanna get on the wrong side of the mrs when channel doing so well! You should make your own bakes I’ve started doing that even with the ready rolled pastry and they turn out great and best bit is you choose the amount of filling and can vary what the filling is

Now as far as these steak bakes go, how fortunate you are to have 2 to compare, deliberate over and enjoy. I know the freezer room issue all to well and sometimes a sacrificial contents cull is necessary. I'm going to contact "Patties Foods" here in Australia and ask them to review your channel, so maybe their marketing team will take HINT and make us Aussies 🇦🇺 some steak bakes. Great looking Steak Bakes the Aldi one does look better but it's all down to the price and taste in the end. Great review nobody can reply to all comment we don't expect you too. Doing the reviews and looking for new things to try is more important or you won't have time to do the research and then do the videos.
Since the recent RU-vid update alot of people aren't able to access the platform RU-vid doesn't open on some devices since the recent update, when they open it tells them to update yet there's no update option in the play store... The only fix has been to click uninstall and the reinstall to be able to open the app.... A fair few might delete the app... not sure if that's it, but these things happen when they update their app Great review, hope you and the fam are all doing well

Hello mate. I remember you saying you are thinking of a air fryer. Well I have just brought Ninja Foodi MAX Health Grill & Air Fryer AG551UK🥷 but grills bakes roasts air fries does everything your oven can do at a fraction of the price. Cost nearly £250 ish but well worth it.

Going back to the review the egg wash on the slices do make them look a lot better I have to admit.
I know this is an old video and you might already have an answer to the question you asked in the video, but thought I'd give you an answer anyway. You spoke about losing 600-700 subscribers "foodies" as you call us :) this is what youtube does a few times a year. They clean out bot accounts and very inactive subscribers. It's an automated system where it will find any accounts deemed to be fake/inactive and pull them from youtube, thus knocking your subcriber count down a bit. If it makes you feel any better, most of these were not real subscribers to begin with.

Hi Gareth, I can only assume that your sub count dilemma is because your channel experienced a brief bot invasion and as soon as YT clocked it they deleted the accounts and as a consequence you lost the fake subs. It's quite common as is the bot thumbs down/dislike trick, again they also disappear after a few hours. Hope that info helps. All the best from Buenos Aires 👍🏻👍🏻
I Just had a Morrisons Chicken and Steak Bake for dinner and they were disappointing. The chicken one had max two pieces of chicken in it and the steak one was barely any steak and just more pastry you must have had a good batch of a steak one. Just from my experience tonight the Aldi one looked better but my closest Aldi over a hr away I wouldn’t be getting the Morrisons ones again
Yt don't like anyone to be too popular or Influencial. Imagine having vast swathes of followers and then you were to turn political. Just my angle on things. Keep up the great work here.
