Dude what? I don't think they every changed it. If anything he looks way more of Asian ethnic yes, but I don't think they purposefully did it to made it to make him specifically chinese. I mean the setting is of the game is still of Asia. If you're talking about how he seems like a monk, that's a bit ignorant no offense. Monks originate both of Japanese and Chinese decent. He could have been a traveler.
@fimbulvetr195 which is understandable, my argument to the main comment was that he was saying it as if Raiden wasn't already Asian(chinese) to begin with. But I do appreciate the bonus info, I didn't know it was a real place.
