Eh I like the roasts better when they are to roast each other and one outdoes the other. Takeda was being respectful, Kitana was just being cruel for the sake of it. Funny thing about Shao beating Blaze, Shao drove himself into a mad boredom afterwards. Have his power and conquering everything there is to conquer, what is the point of a conqueror when there’s nothing left to conquer? Conquer yourself?

Shao Kahn beat Blaze is bullshit af. That was the point when NRS just doesn't care anymore with their continuity because they want to reboot the game via MK9. They don't even explain how the hell Shao Kahn somehow escape from Onaga and miraculously beat Blaze, who at that time was the most powerful being in MK verse, even surpass Onaga, and Onaga himself is way more powerful than Shao Kahn, the reason why he prefer to poison the Dragon King in the first place. And yea Shao Kahn somehow manage to surpass this two gigantic powerhouse in MKA according to NRS logic, without logical explanation. Supposedly it was Taven who beat Blaze, and his fate also unknown in MKA after NRS retcon it. Like we don't even see his body at all during MK9 intro.
