I love mortal kombat game!...i played it game for the first time in about a year or so yesterday on my xbox 360 and I still love it any mortal kombat fan should have it.
wow, I own MK9 but, looking back at all the things this previous one could do ?! Damn !! This really was the ultimate MK game, a clear 10/10. Everything about it was perfect.
I feel like MKA is the same as MK Trilogy in the sense that it sums up the last to games before it (in terms of gameplay and characters) into one and it has a shit ton of characters in it with like one or two new modes but thats just me

The game came out nearly 2 years ago on the last generation before even the 360 launched so...Yeah they had the proper graphics for their respective consoles (PS2, Xbox, and later the Wii)
@TheKCure They probably didn't have a name for him and since the other guy was the villian they named them accordingly. Sektor and Cyrax were ketchup and mustard respectively.
lol, ed boon says, he agrees with ppl who r 17+ buy the games only, but the funny thing is that 95% of the gamers r 14- and those r the ones who buy this games (I was 5 when MK4 came out and it's still my fav fighting game I remember the extreme laughs when I saw the fatalities, especially quanChi's leg attack). can't wait 4 MK8
"Armageddon was the best game!" Let's not get carried away. This game killed whatever little credibility the franchise had left. Deception brought SOME back, but this franchise had been troubled and Armageddon was absolutely atrocious. MK9 was the needed reboot and fresh air that finally breathed life into the franchise as as finally finding their strength in 2D fighting again. I am a huge expert and massive fan since MK1-MK3. Played, read, and watched every MK iteration possible.
well the game systems could handle it, its just Midway had like a year to work on it and thats not enough time to add what they wanted in the game. and yes 60 characters is allot to make individual fatality's for.
I'm really disappointed about the lack of unique character fatalities and the awful storyline. KAF should have been reserved for the KAKs, and this plot was supposed to finalize the stories for most of the characters. It was just horrible.
I'm not gonna lie, I got to the character just before Blaze on the hardest difficulty, and that was after replaying about 10 or so times before I just gave up hehe. I play on Medium setting for casual play, but the game is actually alot more fun the harder it is cause it makes you think.
@JShamw0w If you payed attention to the text with in MKDAs konquest, you'll know Hsu Hao helped Sonya and Jax form the Outerworld Investigation Agency. He was sent as a spy for the Red Dragon and to help eliminate the Black Dragon.
As Mileena's got a normal mouth, in Armageddon, I've lost my "excitement" about her. But, anyways... I trully hope they haven't decided to kill Sindel. I love her.
@HellspawnSpectre No, It does move forward. It starts off after Armageddonw ith Shao Khan about too pwn (Kill) Raiden, so he sends a message too his earlyer self too try too prevent those events.
Except 2 through ultimate, gold, etc etc, were nothing but the same old thing again and again, Deadly Alliance was seen as the revival of a stagnant series. The old games only made it famous, in large part due to the humor and gore factor. 3-D actually introduced a decent combo system and different combos for each character as opposed to them all having the same basic moves.
I want to see a "World of Mortal Kombat" game. Kind of like world of warcraft. Only that's gay. A massive online rpg based on mortal kombat. Choose your class, lvl up earn your spells/skill, surounded in that mortal kombat world.. That would be awesome.
Having played them all, the old ones while nostalgic, are fucking terrible. Every character minus the bosses having the exact same combos is not the way to go.
Well verygoodtobi I played the game on the hardest level, and I only got to the very last character before blaze, after that it was super hard hehe, but i got close. Normally I play casual at medium difficulty.
