I am ecstatic to have gotten such an amazing run like this. Took over a week to grind this one out. But in the end, I ultimately have prevailed. I may push for sub-8 in this category because there's so much potential with revision 2.0 and the technique that's demonstrated in this run. I appreciate the support everyone!

What's the story behind using the freeze move from his fatality instead of standard ice?

I second this question. I would wager a guess that it is not able to be blocked by the AI since it is not a standard special move.

The lure behind the deep freeze is that it was never patched out in the earlier arcade revisions. The last one to use the deep freeze was revision 2.0, which was the one I used due to the Kahn fight being faster than the earlier revisions. In addition to this, the deep freeze is pretty much unblockable so this was one neat feature used in this run.

In earlier mk2 arcade revisions up to 2.0, it could still be used. It wouldn't be until revision 2.1 that it was officially gone.
