This video is an episode of the educational program produced by the "Moshi Moshi Project" of the Portland Public Schools in Oregon. It has a copyright date of 1999 (not even close to my nostalgia zone, but still, 25 years is a pretty long time).
To be clear, I had nothing to do with this production and own no rights. I lived in Portland at the time and would sometimes record random public access-type programming. It seems like there's virtually no information on this fun project online, which is a shame. I figured I'd share what I have, which is precisely this one episode. The video isn't the best, but it's watchable.
This show, "a Japanese language program for elementary students," was filmed at Cleveland High School in Portland. The subject is "Level 3, Lesson 84: Nanji? What Time?" Giggle and sing along with your adorable instructors, Miyo, Reiko, and Toshie, as they teach you time-related Japanese words and phrases. Segments include "Calendar Corner," "Friends Corner" (with guest Paul-San), and "Clock Competition." There's math and time zones, all kinds of stuff.
Again, no rights are held or implied. If you'd like this video removed for copyright reasons, please contact me rather than notifying RU-vid, I will gladly take it down from this channel for the copyright-holder. Check out more vintage video at oldtvads.blogspot.com...
