I find my Chahoua is the calmest out of my 5 geckos. ( i own 3 cresties, 1 gargoyle gecko and the chahoua) I think it just depends on their personality.

Chahoua are often cage aggressive. Their bite is harmless though. They seem to instinctively defend their territory. Mine will usually try to bite me if I reach in at him. He would never bite once out of his enclosure.

Hey I really need your help I got two crested geckos from my close friend a week ago and one is a juvenile another is a little older then a hatchling it just shed and the bigger one used to eat crickets I tried to give him crickets tho he won't eat it I tried pangea too and he won't eat it I put it on his nose so he can lick it off I avoid the nostrils also I tried wax worms to fatten him up because he is getting really skinny I tried feeding him in his tank and putting him in a different container but niether of them would eat pleaseee help

Haha 1 of my cresties runs and jumps for nothing so we named him hip hop complete opposite of my my other who rarely jumps when handled and loves to sit perched like a bird on my shoulder.

So my leopard gecko is digging a hole under her cold hide and laying between the bottom of the tank and her hide. I'm very worried is this normal? Today when I checked on her she was in between the back of the hide and the back of the tank. I try to move the substrate back and cover the gaps between the hide and the tank but she keeps moving it back out. I'm worried she will get squished or hurt herself

I use uv with my rhacodactylus leachinaus and to be honest im thinking of changing it for an led because he literally never goes anywhere near it and stays in the shade all day.

Sorry this doesn’t go with the video but I need some help. I’ve had my leopard gecko for 5 months and everytime I get crickets half dies. I give them food ( tomato’s, lettuce, cauliflower and granola ) and a cap of water. When most die there back legs stop working and stick up.? Are they fighting or is it a illness.? It would be amazing if you had any advice ( they have plenty of oxygen) could it be pesticide on the food?
