They dont know much about saguaros, they know that it takes roughly 60 years to grow one arm. Its unclear how long they live or how long it takes to grow the 2nd arm. So cool 😎
Hi Stefan! I enjoy your videos and love all of the places you end up! You've been posting AZ hikes lately which is right here in my backyard. I am so blessed to live near so much desert beauty! I've done several backpacking trips in the Superstitions, it is stunning!! Did you see many camp sites on that loop?
First off thank you for the feedback and support it means alot! Secondly im also a fellow Arizonian (now that is haha, previoulsy east coast) we are blessed. Lastly regarding campsites, there were plenty in Boulder canyon but not so many in La Barge. The trail meanders theu the dry creek bed and when it comes out of the wash, thats where you find campsites, many to be had as it zig zags up the canyon. Off to do Picacho tmrw with some friends ☺️, stay tuned for that adventure!
Picacho Peak is another one of my favs. Make sure to do that one again in the spring with all the desert flowers! If you need any details or odeas for AZ hikes, let me know. Maybe I'll run into you on the AZ trails someway 😊
