Welcome to part 4 of my stealth van camping road trip around the UK, in my VW Caddy micro stealth campervan! I left Devon and started making my way back to Kent, and I stopped for the night, only to find the strangest carpark I've been to yet since being in the van life scene!
It's been a pretty epic van life road trip and this was certainly an unexpected way to finish it off. I love to find places to recommend but I definitely don't recommend this place!

I know exactly where that carpark is. I literally live two minutes from it. Years ago my girlfriend of at time parked there after the pub, with me as a passenger. When we left, about three cars followed us for miles into other towns. If you intend to park there, be careful because the police do regular raids there after dark. It might be an entertaining video for us, but could be a bit awkward for yourself.

I thought I pulled into a dodgy car park once. Unusually busy for the countryside and all kinds of people walking from car to car. Later found out from the owner of my self catering that that was a car park for a long day hike over several mountains. Went without dinner for nothing that evening.

Good old A3 southbound services! That carpark just off the M25 junction is known as a pick-up spot we used to go there with the ambulance blue lights on and watch them run 🏃‍♂️ 😀 😉 😳 away thinking we were police, they could see what type of emergency vehicle it was with the main beam headlights on.....

I went to this park few months back.. Yeah some weirdo there driving up to your car or van and there light bright around your car.. They ruined my park up. So I moved on because these weirdos really ruined my evening. I was there one Saturday night and I had a really lovely relaxed night into Sunday.. For sure its a Famous dogging spot I honestly never saw anything going on.. Cool video's Especially Beccie what a character.. I think the other lass with her new van is well into you too lucky man..

Stonehengeeeee! That's my neck of the woods that is, I go past that road you were on every Wednesday for band practice 😝, those motor-homes have been there for months! So I reckon you'd be fine camping there overnight. Probably smart to have left that other place though.. Defo a bit sus! 😂😂👀

@@Adz Stonehenge is pretty cool, worth keeping in mind they charge for entry now. I may or may not have walked through fields with a bunch of friends, then jumped the barbed wire fence, to get into Solstice one year 👀😅 Salisbury cathedral + Old Sarum is worth a visit, near enough to Stonehenge. There's a pub in Salisbury with a severed hand in it too. Haunch of Venison, it's around 700 years old! ✌️👌 Definitely dodged a dodgy doggy night that's for sure. 😂😂

In my old job I used to stop in at a couple of spots on the A1M at J58 and J60.. "gobblers gulch" and "doggers den" as they were known 😂 used to pull in and turn on the emergency lights and watch them scurry like rats on sportier nights 😂😂😂😂

Some years ago I was on my way home from a gig in Brighton and needed a piss. I knew this car park from when we used to go chestnutting at Semaphore Tower so stopped in. I was about to get out of the car and go into the woods to relieve myself when I noticed a young guy in a sleeveless t-shirt sitting on a log beside my car. I looked around and realised that it might not be the best idea to get out and unzip my fly. I drove further down the A3 to a BP garage.

near Guildford... probably the dogging capital... there's a good park up on the A3 behind the BP M&S on the Southbound side a few miles North of Guildford... (edit: just realised that looks like where you stayed the night) there are two BP M&S petrol stations opposite each other... but the South bound is great for lorries and small cars/campers
