Clip. O is tuff to sit in I thought he was running 9-18's last time I seen him maybe a month ago in Raleigh NC, he doesn't live that far from me so I always see him at shows he demos all day like it isn't nothing last time he blew a sub tho and got caught short but a nice guy he is
So I'd consider myself quite the audiophile, but I've never understood the science behind facing a woofer into a box or out of a box. Any simple explanations?
Can I plug my Bass guitar in and play?? Blows away my wall of cabinets and 3000 watts of RMS Peavey power. 2 18's under 2 15"s under 2 12's under 2 10's with 2 8's on top with 2 7 × 15 horns and 8 piezo tweets. All separated by low pass and high pass filters with 10 band EQ and compressed. I rattle the neighborhood when I play at volume.
2 of those 8 inch woofers did what four fifteens couldn't do in my 65 Chevy 2wagon my back glass kept getting blown off track and slamming in the tailgate. Tough old piece of glass wouldn't break tho ..is your hatchback big ?
Was that 165 sealed up legal or usaci? Thats nuts. Goes to show what csn be done when u build things yourself and not just pay someone else to do them. Cough JP cough
At this level that vehicle has to be useless lol I don't understand because I had a mint 93 camaro n put a killer (at a normal level) system in it which was stock alt a second battery and "the big 3" running a jl 13w7 in hatch at 32hz and two 15L7 squares at like 38hz in backseat on a audiobahn 2300hct 4,800w at clip and yes it was nuts, did hairtricks and flexed thee entire vehicle to the point where I couldn't drive it after like 6mos of driving around at full tilt because my turn signals barely worked and it had rattled bolts loose and caused it to run like dogshytt so it spent another year in my driveway doing demos and basically just charging the batts and I had switched out subs a few times experimenting and got it a little louder yet even but then car wouldn't even start after playing that lol with only 110k mi on an all original mint 93 camaro car became useless even for sound demos after about a year n I sadly watched it get towed away to junkyard for few hundred bucks and to gain a parking space!
