Following a lead from a friendly face I was able to lock down the best camping location I've ever had. It's nestled on the Alpine Loop on the edge of a gorge with a view of multiple little waterfalls. I stayed there for 5 nights without moving at all. This was the first true test of remote van life capabilities.
I also repaired my bent spindle - a suspension component that holds everything together for IFS vehicles. I pulled the part from a junkyard and repaired it in the field with my own tools. I also switched to a jetboil stove and added a hest matress to my roof top tent!
