My guess is that a person that can afford to spend that much on one meal would enjoy feeling like a kid again. They probably are that rich by working high stress jobs. I find these meals in awful taste, but they are fancy.

If you’re paying that much on 1 single meal, you’re either too damned rich to care about expenses or a dumb ass who doesn’t understand the value of your money. Later that night, all the guests were forced to stay and were locked in. Except for one guest who requested that a cheeseburger is made for $9.95. She took a few bites and requested it to go, they let her take it and leave. Next thing you know while she walks out the whole building is set on fire with everyone in it. That's fancy and expensive restaurants for yah they be saying you ain't paying us 10 thousand dollars to get full by our food but for the experience and the fact you can say "I ate there and there and payed this and that for it" like bruh can i atleast go home without being hungry af after im done its really just pain to see money wasted for that
So basically... It's diarrhea, coal, dead "tree" with melted grass, a sprinkling of fish, and a tablespoon of ketchup and mayo that you lick from a plate. Yep, definitely worth the price. 😀😀

Fine dining chef here: If you read the menu it's a 15 course meal and this video makes it look like it was just 4 little morsels. Imagine having bigger portions if there are 15 different bites of food coming. You'd tap out halfway through PS: not too hot about the chocolate course either, that's just disgusting.

As a Chef with over 40 yrs experience, this rates close to #1 on Restaurant Ripoffs. Even though I loved it when fusion cooking became a thing in the 80s, some of the menus of other chefs in my city pissed me off due to the price gouging. What made it worse was people seemed just fine with the prices as long as you worded it correctly and added anything kind of unusual, whether or not it affected the flavor of the dish. smh...

You automatically assume that they are in a financial situation to put a down payment on a house. You assume they have the credit to get a decent loan to buy a house. Now is also an awful time to buy a house because 1) The Fed raised interest rates already and probably will again. 2) A recession/market crash is coming sooner than later. 3) If (when) the market crashes, the house you just bought would lose a ton of value. Bro, with respect you can afford this. Go to any super/hypermarket amd buy the following: -chocolate pudding (costs about 50 cent) -macaron (cost about 1 bucks) -jam (I have no clue, but cheap) -fish -gummy bears (melt it and mix in some cocoa powder) They paid 1000+ to eat like 5 year olds.
You clearly never experienced this type of dining.. you are well fed at the end, do not get confused by small portions when u have 15 different meals 🙂

My wife and I won a trip to a resort in Coasta Rica with food like this. Eating inside was included we paid nothing, only tips. After 2 days we started eating in town with the locals. My wife is from S.F. California and I'm from Southern Texas. We would eat the breakfast and sometimes dinner in the resort but the local food was more our style.
