MOST INSANE QUINCY: Gremmy Thoumeaux | BLEACH Character Analysis 

I think it is quite interesting that each member of the different races within Bleach that is regarded as "The Strongest of their Kind", all suffer from feeling alone and depressed in some way. And to deal with it, Kenpachi ended up manifesting a piece of his soul into the real world, Starrk would split his being into two and Gremmy would literally use his power to create life. I really like how Kubo has a consistent theme of "It is lonely at the Top" in the series, it is a very neat idea that makes you think.

Can't wait to see him in the newest episode. He's like what every child wants to be.

I like how when Gremmy explains what he did to Yachiru, Kenpachi's just like "...What's a cookie?"

I was just at work thinking about the upcoming fighting between Gremmy & Kenpachi. It’s going to be one of the best episodes to date.

What I love about Kubo’s characterizations is that this fight and battle dialogue would be entirely different if Gremmy had gone up against a different captain. I can only imagine what wisdom Mayuri would have passed onto Gremmy with his experience with creation and adaptation. Even a fight between Rose and Gremmy could have been nuts if given the right conditions

I love how Kubo treated this reality changing power. I always imagined this is how it would work irl. You’d have to be focused 24/7 with no doubts or fears. Gremlins is OP done right. Immense Power with a price.

I feel like the animation is about to kick off more than we've seen with every new episode forward and I can not wait

I didn't expect to feel so sad during Gremmy's death in the anime. It's also sadder when taking into account his last conversation with Liltotto, telling him he should be a cook after the war.

I would have loved if Gremmy went to the Soul King palace as part of the Schutzstaffel , meaning that this first battle was inconclusive and getting a round 2 with Kenpachi´s Bankai and Gremmy's vollständig, but well that's just a wish of mine, he deserved more screen time.

Glad you decided to do the analysis video for Gremmy since his episode is this upcoming Saturday. And I’m hoping and praying the fight between him and Kenpachi will expand. I love the relationship between him and Liltotto. Hope to see a scene between the two in the upcoming episode.

Gremmy reminds me of the boltzmann brain theory. A brain spontaneously existing and hallucinating the world around him. Except he 'spontaneously' came to be in a world that exists and was able to warp and shape reality.

I honestly cannot wait to seeing Gremmy in animated form. This is going to be insane!

I remember finding this channel during a time when bleach wasn't airing. I think burn the witch had just aired. the last time I saw or was active in the bleach community the general consensus was that it had fallen off. hell I remember buying Jump force only to find out Ichigo was a side character, while Luffy and Naruto were front and center. finding this channel was such a nice breath of fresh air, and honestly it made me appreciate bleach so much more. it was nice to see people actually be positive about bleach still. and then the anime came back and it's been so great to see people hyped up for the episodes and fights that are coming up. the analysis videos of upcoming characters for the next episodes do more to hype me up than a trailer for the next episode would. keep up the great work.

Seeing him in action against Kenpachi will be wild. Still that banter he shared with Liltotto was quite heartwarming, even if in the end only she will realize that via running a cafe in the postwar era alongside the others. Shazz ironically helped instigate the postwar reforms by wiping out Central 46 while Kira saved the only true reformist among the hardliners.

The best Sternritter. Extremely underrated and underused.

Gremmy was so powerful he created a whole other stern Ritter with his ability vs Kenpachi who was so strong he created a whole other soul reaper with his power.

I hope these further expand on his background. Turns out that another Sternritter that he has the only closest relationship with is Liltotto, one of the Bambis

Kenpachi could've defeated Gremmy by saying something ridiculous (which isn't *completely* out of Left Field, since he's a fan of games), invoking the "Pink Elephant Effect". You know, when someone says something, and you can't help thinking of it? ...Oh, wait, he kind of *did* do that, didn't he? "Did you imagine..." "...the possibility of your own defeat?" One thing that (maybe only because I've got a different mindset) I think Gremmy messed up is that he *healed* the wounds he took, rather than imagining that they hadn't happened at all-but then again, maybe he didn't have the power to... The part where Gremmy tried to make himself (physically) stronger than Kenpachi reminds me vaguely of an aside from The Dresden Files, where Harry internally monologues (for the reader's benefit) about how, if a Wizard were to try and amplify their muscle mass, they'd also have to compensate by strengthening their body in other ways, like making their bones more dense. Every body has its limitations...even if it doesn't really exist, as such. It's necessary to take those into consideration before doing something quite so drastic.

I think Gremmy's imagination made Kenpachi that much stronger. The time in isolation probably made it difficult for him to feel motivated to win and a way maybe he didn't want to.

Unpopular opinion...Guenael Lee's"Vanishing Point"schrift doesn't get enough attention/shine. It makes him invisible, intangible and imperceptible. He can literally kill most(90%+)of the Bleach cast.

Ah yes, one of two quincies so powerful that kenpachi had to release his zanpakuto.

Gremmy is my favorite SternRitter and in my opinion one of the top 10 most powerful and broken characters in bleach. His Visionary is an extremely powerful and scary ability. He can just imagine an asteroid is heading to earth and it will or he could turn your bones into cookies. Like he literally has the power to weaken his enemies and strengthen himself or his allies. I believe he might be stronger than jugram and Gerard. I really hope they expand and show more scenes of gremmy actually being overpowered and threatening in the anime. Gremmy really is a great and creatively powerful character.

I found him similar to Barragan in that it was only by his own power and his arrogance in that power that ended up killing him.

The only way to beat Gremmy is through his insecurities, if he doesn’t think he can beat you, then you already won the battle. 🙌🏼

mayuri vs gremmy would have been amazing too because mayuri could slip drugs into him without him knowing and gremmy's immagination would be flawed... he would think he killed msayuri but it would have been an illusion

Gremmy's imagination became a blessing and a curse. An outcast bar Liltoto by his fellow Stern Ritters due to his power and completely unhinged in battle and displays arrogance that lead to his inevitable downfall. Gremmy was indeed a Visionary(pun intended) in battle however never truly understood the limitations of his power hence Kenpachi was able to overcome him.

The match up is at the same time perfect but also gremmy never had a chance I wouldn't even call it a fight. More like Kubo needed to show off the monster that Kenny becomes and gremmy drew the short straw that was Kubos decision to use him in that fight. God I can't wait!!!! 2:15 am currently not too long left!!!!!!

If Gremmy was the Soul King’s brain, then by that logic, the Soul King’s personality was very similar to Gremmy’s.

I like how the power can fade away once he does not pay attention towards it. It’s a nice way to nerf it, without making it just simple reality warping we see all the time in fiction. Then again Kyōka Suigetsu seems to be the perfect counter towards the visionary.

If I break a wooden board I can use Antithesis to swap the damage between the board and the enemy? What I'd like to know is how did the schrift ceremony take place with Gremmy? How was he able to drink Yhwach's blood if he's only a brain? Did Yhwach just pour his blood on Gremmy's brain to give him The Visionary? Would like to know if Gremmy is the brain of the SK.

I wish they would make this fight in 2 episodes instead of one. The first one ending with gremmy imagining the meteor and showing zaraki' smiling face and the second episode begins with zaraki calling his zanpakutou's name and cutting the meteor,they could even add more scenes with gremmy imagining other things against zaraki. But looks like this fight gonna be the whole episode,idk looks kinda too fast,but I hope they do justice and make this fight amazing.(sorry my english is really bad).

Gremmy had the Strongest Sword. However he didn't count dor three major factors. He his Sword was an Double edged sword and he had neither the Mind or body to hold that Sword.

So Guenael ceased to exist entirely because he erased himself from Gremmy's mind in an attempt to not be erased by Gremmy? *Congratulations, you played yourself.*

I think Gremmy's Visionary has limitations. He can't directly affect his opponent. Seems like he needs to touch them first, that's the case when he turned Yachiru's bone to cookie. Guenael's case is an exception, Gremmy can kill him simply by stop imagining since Guenael is just his imagination.
