When I met my wife, it was as if she walked right out of my imagination (dreams) and into my life (reality). Forty-eight years later, she still amazes me.
What nost of us( or many-at least!) refuse ,or fail to understand ,is that there has to be about 95% exact concurrence of desire and attraction to the potential partner for the marriage (or relationship) to be long lasting-or fulfilling! Despite what Mom said, or implied ,-the "other" is not going to ever fully love or desire ther "real " you ! The only thing that grows on the relationship is "fungus"!
Maybe we should also take a peek at the amount of women on Tik Tok and Instagram who do what they do and ask "would she even date a guy like me?" The answer is 'No' because the fantasy person doesn't exist - just like the dream girl. It's a game of supply and demand. Women have what becomes the supply - themselves. And men, who are geared to be the seekers in this game, have the demand. In other words, men do not have the power. So this idea that men marry the 'convenient ones' dismisses the reality of male/female relationships in the modern world. This is why men who are rich and successful - regardless of looks or age - end up with models, etc. It's because they have something women want and there's a power shift. As long as relationships are approached this way - supply and demand - there will always be problems.
