The 12th area of Kali is likely the most neglected area of training in Filipino Martial Arts. This area includes fitness, health and wellness. Here are 7 exercises I think all Kali practitioners should be doing on a weekly basis. If you're just starting out or getting back into the swing of things a good goal to aim for is between 6-10 reps of each exercise completing 2 to 3 sets. This should take only about 15-30 minutes 2 to 3 times per week. It ain't much but it will be extremely beneficial!

This so much. I keep seeing this in FMA - Guros and experienced fighters who are *massively* obese. Like WTF guys? Go for a run, do some yoga, some Kali-sthenics!

THOSE sorta guys are highly suspect unless there's clear evidence they know what they doing an been pretty obviously well trained... it sorta separates whom may be guess assuming an guessing from the trained IF they don't look like they'd survive a minor workout or whole training session let alone a full on all out knife fight.
