@@bmw867none of Honda cars sold in India are below 4 stars in GNCAP... Big Honda fan.. Now they should bring one more micro SUV in India with 1.2L ivtec engine..
Thank you for your consistency and efforts🙏! But the disappointing fact is that the Indian consumers are now buying the 3-cyl engines more than ever and it's not even German engines and also spending tons of money on those.😒 Nexon, Venue, Taigun all offer 3-Cyl noisy-vibrating engines at a super premium price (>15L) and people are loving it. Most probably are first time buyers or are probably switching from Diesel engines and so they can't tell the difference between the performance of 4-cyl and 3-cyl engines as long as they are getting fancy features and good safety ratings. Tata's 3-Cyl engines are a disgrace to engineering but people are pumping the sales figues of Punch and Nexon. Just because Tata nailed it at the "Safety" marketing. The stats show that era of enthusiasts is over. People are spending 16L on Nexon and 10-12L on Punch that struggle on Hills and vibrate like diesels on revving up. The rise of AT lovers are also concerning and most are either too bad at their driving skills or are switching from scooty/Activa and actually never developed MT skills. Sadly the auto industry seems to be adapting to the skill level of the consumers. People are even spending 18L on Taigun 1.0L and 16L on Venue 1.0L. Taigun's 1.5L TSI is still the best engine in the market for the price but 1.0L is just Polo's engine in a bigger body shell. Spending so much on a small engine doesn't seem to be right. It's just too hurtful to digest such news.
Main reason of high sales of tata cars like Punch is safety, cng + boot space under budget. I don't understand why other manufacturers don't provide these things...
95% cars sold in USA and Europe are Automatic. So it is Customer's choice. Don't try to be cool by dissing customers. I have a Manual for long drives , AT Car for City use.
@@prajwalkb539 US is technically dumb and the world knows that and laughs at them. They call customer service when they aren't able to operate or even switch-on their appliances. The entire customer service/call center industry got boosted to facilitate the dumb US customers. Only 3% drive MT in US. Europe never welcomed AT. AT never got popular in Europe. They still drive MT. (80% of the current population) Get your facts right! India did got introduced with a 3-gear AT in Maruti800 in the 90s. Do you know why Maruti Suzuki introduced AT in India? For the specially abled population in India! Don't try to act cool by lying that you own a MT vehicle? It must belong some other family member of yours who never trusts you with their MT vehicle. Drive your AT and don't get confused between the two foot pedals. Remember one is brake and ther other is accelerator (or should I say "Gas") To be specific, the one on the side of your idle/sleeping left foot is the Brake in your AT car. It is of Extreme importance. It helps to STOP the car. Soon with the rising population of non-MT people and the dumb US trends, the foot pedals will also be replaced by steering controls as well. Much like auto rickshaws, Oh wait, even auto rickshaws are MT. Too bad! E-Rickshaws are a better example. 🚙Vroooooommm Vrooooooommm
Very true, I have been driving Hyundai cars since 2012 and have recently bought Kia seltos in 2022 and have driven more than 15 k kms on the hills of Arunachal Pradesh and Meghalaya. No issues whatsoever.
We have been using Maruti cars since 1995. Most reliable cars. We have used Esteem,Esteem 2nd generation,Gypsy, wagon R now I have Swift Dzire, Swift and Xl6 and Now booking another Nexa Car Grand Vitara replacing my dzire 😊. Service centers everywhere, and these cars have good resale value...
@@anivash007 Maruti has always maintained that they are not competing with cars but infact with motorcycles and two wheelers and offering the best mileage in the Indian four wheeler automobile market. Tata and Mahindra cars, though very tuf n ruf, are quite clunky, and face several issues down the line. Additionally, their after sales services are far inferior to Maruti. You get an Alto for the same price of a motorbike but with a roof that protects you from the rain and an AC to cool you down in summer!
I can vouch for Honda any day. I have been using Brio since 2013 and till now, no issues with electronics, hardware, not even rubber parts. Engine is calm and enough power for my city use. Can't think of beyond Honda next time as well.
Maruti is number one in reliability. Have been using Maruti since 1998 from Omni, Alto, Swift, Breeza, Ertiga till now and never have I had any issues due to reliability. Assam ho,ya Ladakh gadi bas chalegi and kabhi nahin rukegi...this was the same reliability that Toyota brought to India with Qualis and Indian press then kept talking about reliability and now no one questions.
Toyota is the king of reliability, I bought second hand corolla altis, the the electronic works as new, no issues, no engine noise, got it fitted with cng because same vechile come with cng in other countries it’s giving mileage of 20-25 on Cng. I would say Toyota is Toyota , I live in Saudi my company driver have a Innova which run 14lac km and still running fine.
Very nice video. Few understand what reliability means. The irony is what the most important part of a car is (they think it’s safety). Safety is very important but a car is all about the engine and the very basics of smoothness, refinement and reliability. Toyota, Honda, Maruti and Hyundai are super reliable brands. And reliability is not to do with turbo engines or 3 cylinders monster powerful engines. On the contrary, it’s quite the reverse. A bigger engine, 4 cylinders will always turn out better in the long run. Kudos for speaking out facts in this heavily biased era.
Agreed Toyota is no 1 as far as service quality is concerned, they listen and complains are taken seriously.. have first hand experience of owning used Innova car..
My family has owned Maruti cars since last 3 decades I must say we had around 10 maruti cars in our family and it never gave us any issue...where as my cousin purchased Nexon from the first month he used to visit service center atleast 3-4 times a month..
@deepakpawar5593 even if you are driving a Mercedes, Range rover there's lot of death...atleast when owning a Maruti,Hyundai, Toyata there's peace of mind and won't spend on hospital for mental torture 😅 Tata Fan boys these days sheshhh
@@deepakpawar5593 So please don't travel in Ola uber, and let your family members know that they are all MARUTI built. Also, i would suggest you to give up your nationality also. As I personally believe we live in a nation having air / water/ Noise pollution, crimes and women safety issue with many other issues including hospitalization and insurance scam etc. If you cannot do any of the things mentioned above you are wasting not only your time, but everyone here in this comment section.
@@deepakpawar5593 I have literally seen people smoking 🚬 and even drinking daily and unable to stand properly in my office and few other things.. some are rich, some are poor, some even have only two wheelers but the word they all are acquainted with is "safety". I don't know what is so trendy and fascinating in this word. But i still prefer to book the Brezza Top model instead of going for the so-called 3 Cylinder 1.2 l engine. There are fools in every society, educated people get fooled in the name of such fancy words, and forget what actually peace of mind means. If you're educated and proud to talk about safety and flaunt your Tata style of life that doesn't make you look cool either. Though i personally praise sir Ratan Tata. But i am talking about cars and not about him. If thet me helps😅
@@Ishan94 bhai safety bilkul nhi hai maruti cars mein.. whereas no one is asking any question to Honda? why? because they are good built cars. maruti sirf sub continent pe chal rha hai because of Govt's backing. agar govt thoda bhi tax ghata de foreign car makers pe (excluding japan) maruti will be in dead trouble. they are absolutely shit in terms of drivability. sirf a to b jaane ke liye they are decent.
Main reason of high sales of tata cars like Punch is safety, cng + boot space under budget. I don't understand why other manufacturers don't provide these things...
Other manufacturers provide refined engine good fit and finish good after sales service. If you want both there are no good options available. Hyundai exter I think is good but no crash test data as of now.
You are absolutely right in saying Maruti has a very good hold on their service centers. I had escalated twice on certain matters which were almost immediately looked at and responded well! I always say to my friends, agar budget ho to Toyota or Honda le lo, else Maruti default choice h ni chaiye!
I had a negative experience with Maruti during the escalation process. Despite raising concerns to higher authority, about the workshop, the issues were not addressed properly. Instead, they revert escalation the car to the workshop again, resulting in higher charges and dissatisfaction.
Sir need help, My budget is around 9-10 lakhs, first time car buyer. Is Honda Amaze petrol manual good option or am I making mistake. Or should I go for either of i20 or Baleno ??
Toyota has those cars in other car markets that can rule Indian car industry but they are somehow not looking to take the risk and selling rebadged maruti and degrading their own brand name.
I think all brand car engines are reliable these years. The advancement of technology is such that every car maker offers best engines. I have seen XUV 500s clocking 3lakh kms in best condition, Nexons doing 2 lakh kms in perfect condition, Tiago 3 cylinder petrol doing 1.1lakh kms in top condition. Zest cab which had done 4.5lakh kms Mahindra's GDI petrol engine is top notch. I always support Indian brands bcos I want these companies to become No 1&2. Koreans only buy koran made cars n these brands have 80% share in Korea, same with japnese and Chinese. When Hyundai had worst engines in 80s Koreans still brought Hyundai bcos they believed in their brands. We Indians should do the same. Moreover today tata and mahindra are No 1 investors in R&D & ALSO only companies to care for Indian lives.
After sales support sucks for tata and Mahindra. Customer service is worst. That's why experience people prefer non Indian brands. Also long term Tata and Mahindra engines under perform. Fit and finish is bad for low priced cars.
@@prashant41191 I owned a Scorpio from 2002 to 2013 .. 200,000+ km covered, no issues. 2013 onwards XUV 500 no issues so far covered 177,000 km . Both vehicles did ultra long drives to Ladakh, Bhutan, Arunachal, Kanyakumari with zero issues and so I do not agree with you at all ..
Agree with you..i am using Honda City VTEC 2006 & its going strong though getting spares is bit tough..but ride comfort, ease of driving, mileage and reliability are unmatched. VTEC is master piece. Btw Honda produces best engines in the world & sells engine to Red Bull Racing for the F1 car till 2025
Sir, You are very much Right. But as concerned about Hundai it was a reliable couple of year back . But Paint peel of repeated in i20, even of Creta , such a costly cars . Very Very Big issue. I think worst reliable
Sir, I am from Kolkata, planning to buy a hatchback within 7.50, My preference is Tiago top variant (MT) and I10 Nios Sports MT, please suggest which I should buy. My travelling will be 70% on busy highways and 25% in city.
Using 2019 Baleno delta ..... covered almost 28k KM & till date. Only battery change after 3 years as expected No extra Work done till date , Super, Smooth Engine & smooth Gearbox, Still Giving 18-19 kmpl in city 22-24kmpl on Highway! 3 star NCAP rated, ok if you are not going beyond 80kmph. Only issue found is stiff suspension till 10-15k Kms
Owned 1st gen Honda city for 13yrs drove around 1.2lac kms,it was one of the best experiences and we had beautiful memories of that car, long trips were just amazing. Currently own 2012 jazz its clocked 70000 kms and ownership experience has been good and very happy with the car. Will wait another year before upgrading,it'll either be elevate or city.
Only two brands Tata and Mahindra are real pain in the ass, from the very 1st month owners have to run behind workshop. Chaltahi jata hai problems ki list 😂.. being a Nissan owner for 8 years mujhe sirf saal mai ekbar Jana hota hai and that's it.
Indeed thank you Sir for backing up for Mahindra and Tata thank you and yes German 🇩🇪 ko aapkemuuh se taraf bina yeh to dekhi nehi jayegi kyou ke ek sophisticated aadmi ek corporate ek corporate ki tarif bina rahe nehi payegi 🙏🌹
13.5lakh ZXI is best - feature rich and 1500cc engine. OR Lxi super value for money - 9.65lakh - add another 50000 to top it up with fab music and add-ons, cheers
I have a question, my Kia Seltos Diesel car was in the service center for close to 2 months, so if in case I wish to exchange/sell the vehicle, can I get less depreciation,
It will be like going from the frying pan right into the fire!!! Tata cars are the worst cars when it comes to Reliability and the after sales service is the most horrible in the country... It's best to avoid both these shitty desi brands and go for either VW/Skoda, or Honda/Toyota......
@@raceking83 Sir actually my brother is having VW Virtus, its looks are nice and engine is also much responsive but its interior quality is very bad, ratteling noises are there everywhere and the car has ran only 12000 km so he is going to sell that car,but again its resale value is very bad.
@@mayadevi6446 Thats really sad to know that VW has dropped down on the quality part. Its actually shocking to know. Yaa the resale value with any European cars is bad. So then in today's market situation, I believe if you want Reliability, Safety, Refinement, decent interiors, space and VFM, then I think the Honda Elevate is the best buy.....
@@raceking83you're partially correct but VW/Skoda is not reliable at all. VW has bad reputation in American car market for their garbage reliability & catastrophic failure. Skoda is a junk version of VW not even sold in American car market. American car experts or mechanics hates VW with passion. Scotty Kilmer, an American car expert & mechanic, advises never to own VW as a family car & for the enthusiasts, they should better go for the Audi cars which is the premium version of VW.
I want to buy Toyota strong Hybrid G Model. I am not clear about how much annual insurance it will cost me ( average) , for first 5 years? It will be really great if you can reply me with this info.
Disagree with you , I own a hyundai venue for 3 years done 45K KM have got oil cooler changed , radiator changed , many more such equipment’s got a service bill of 50000/- at 45K km , at 30K km service Center broke the car windshield , they did replace but I got issues with water seepage during monsoon season . Would stay away from hyundai from now , never did I had such service issues with other car manufacturers like Toyota and Honda , hyundai doesn’t fall in same category as them and for the same reason KIA!!!!
Sir why do you think Vw and Skoda not reliable cars... They are way ahead in reliability build quality and driving dynamics .. Compared to Toyota, Hyundai or Maruti...
Who build bullet trains 🚅 ? Isn't it Japanese? Japan is far more technologically advanced than the European countries. Skoda cars are so bad that they're not even allowed to sold in USA market. That's tell you everything you need to know about these European junks. VW can't even make car that can last 5 years without any failure. After the end of warranty VW cars are destined to breakdown. Their only selling point so far was safety but now even Hyundai Verna also has 5 star safety rating. By the way, VW is now facing a major criminal offence in USA for cheating emission norms. If VW can cheat in USA, then isn't it more likely that they're also cheating in India 🤔
Hii, if i want to buy a car with features like hybrid (smart/mild), cruise control, ADAS (emergency car collision avoider), 360 camera, which brand/model I can check but within a budget of 10 lacs. Please advice.
