Mostly Walking Valentine's Day - Dialtown: Phone Dating Sim 

Sometimes you don't know you needed there to be a specific game, until you've seen the game.

I feel like this type of game is one of the most difficult to make, writingwise. There's an infinitesimaly thin line between gut-busting hilarious, and absolute cringe that's difficult to see, and I think it's very easy to accidentally step over that line without realising it.

This was certainly the least forgettable Valentine's themed game I've ever seen. And that's saying something.

I think this was the best Mostly Walking since Katawa Shoujo.

When the dev started chiming in in the chat I half-expected them to get banned for backseat gaming.

The Cthulhu lady game they mention is probably Sucker for Love. Like this one, it's also weird... But in a completely different way. Would be funny to see Sean break out the Mickey voice on the slight horror elements though.

I think Mostly Walking needs to start to review lowly rated games, as game designers. This is the mostly walking path forward.

What a ride

Ever since the Statement that DSAF would not be countiued I had an empty void that needed filling in my phone shaped heart until I found out he was making Dialtown! I wish I had a Windows laptop to play this but alas ill have to look on the sidelines, I just cant wait to see what the hell this game brings

Every now and then "Mostly Walking" removes the veil to reveal, that it was "Metadating". Always has been. 14:00 yay, another "chose your own protagonist pronoun" games. 21:40 great dialog. 25:30 Seduce Jerry the ticket seller 40:00 "sucker for love" has lots of tentacles and emotional abuse and cosmic horrors, but it is still totally tame 43:40 AI dungeon failed since may 2021, it lewd-censored too much, it actually banned all numbers smaller than 18 in the context of age, even if that young object was not alive or a literal pet, that was "too lewd for work". This combined poorly with the removal of privacy AND with a big data-leak. (note, this is all about 100% fictional writing, and AI dungeon was quickly trained to be "way too lewd", as it was used a lot for (and trained by) erotic fanfiction). the dragon-ai seems to be defunct, and reverted to its beta-stage, making it much dumber (and constrained by very poorly implemented censorship). 56:00 yeah understandably, this is roughly the time stamp where you see mikan use the toilet in "wanko to kyrasou"

Oh boy, pronouns are going to confuse things real quickly.

The hosts are entertaining as always but my god this game is terrible. I can’t find one redeeming quality. The music is shrill and headache-inducing. The visuals are gaudy and headache-inducing. The texts design is bizarre and headache-inducing. The narrative is slow, uninteresting, and humorlessly vulgar. Just…awful all around. Kudos to MW crew to making it that far and putting some interest into it. I’m so glad this was a one-off bc this would be the first game I couldn’t watch week after week, and I’ve stuck through them all, good and bad.
