Prospecting goes both ways… you’re prospecting for the club and they’re prospecting for you. That is the time to figure out if it’s a good fit for you and for the club. Prospects are not members and it’s better to figure out if that’s the home for you during that time than after you’re patched in.

Being a hang around won’t stop this from happening @DemonsRow let’s be real. It can happen to a patch holder just as quick. I Prospected for one of the biggest clubs in the world. Twice, even did a year & 3 months of Hangaround in between the those 2 times Prospecting. Made it to the day I was suppose to Patch just for a Member from the Chapter I originally started with to start some shit for me. Enough for me to tell them to go fuck themselves. Patches don’t mean shit. At the end of the day, I’m a 1%ER regardless. Patches don’t make a man that, it’s a code of life for the real ones of us actually out here. Today’s 1%ER is a fucking joke, a social status if you will.

But you're right, there's a million in one things it could be and there's very little context to the clip. But that is what allows me to say what I said. What I've seen personally. If a prospect gets "thrown under the bus" he royally f'd up. Misunderstood orders or violated something and hoped the guy wouldn't say anything.

No club member should ever be mean to a prospect because prospects have feelings to. That and others things nobody has ever said coming up. This is why club membership isn't handed out day 1 you have to separate the brothers from the others. If your not there all the time interacting with everyone and getting the feel of all the personality differences and how to handle situations but always remember these guys are going to put you through hell so they don't ever have ro wonder or ask if your down. Plus they have to see how you deal with pressure in different ways. You take your lumps and EARN your place or cry and run home to film yourself cutting off you prospect patch like a child. In all seriousness if this guy is filming and posting this video something tells me he films everything and talks a whole lot. He is an other because he didn't have what it takes to be a brother.

I cut my prospect patch off in front of my sponsor because nobody in the club wanted to ride with me to the border to hold my cut while I rode into Canada. I left my cut with my sponsor, did my 1,000 mile ride on the 1st week of April (it was 34 degrees the whole week), got back, told my sponsor I didn’t want to be a part of a club that doesn’t want to ride “because it’s too cold” and used his knife to cut the rocker off.

I'm a man that wore a cube in Chicago; became an officer and eventually cut off all the flash. No member should ever throw a prospect under the bus, and if that happens, that guy is absolutely right to leave, but holy shit..., a prospect cutting off his own shit, after full members put it on his back in the first place? That's fuckin' wild! We all consider turning it in while we're prospecting, but if you do, turn it in right. By that point, a lot more than one guy went to bat for you. Show them respect if nothing else.

For the non riders who make comments about how MC's are silly. It's about the bikes, it's about having a group of people to ride with and hang out with. Some people join the Elks or the Moose lodge. Some people become gym rats for their social needs. It's real easy to pick out people who are clueless to what the real reasons for joining an MC are. Some people love riding and just enjoy it more when there are others going down the road with them. For me, it's the sound. I love the sound of a bunch of Harley Davidson's rolling along together.

Nah this happened to me, I was prospecting for sick life MC San Marcos TX and I had a bad crash with my ol lady, hit a deer going 40. Once I was able to get out of the hospital no one came over check in on me and my wife, my bike was in shambles and a VET CLUB offered a donation for my recovery and ran it by my club I was prospecting for and the VP shot it down. To this day no one has reached out to retrieve the prospect patches or rockers I earned and I’ve texted and called countless times
