Motorcycle Oil Leak - What is Actually Going On
After pulling into work I realized that there was a puddle appearing under my bike because Motorcycle Oil Leak. I walked over and touched it with my fingers and it turned out to be oil. I looked around a bit and found that it was coming from my air box and landing on the chain. I believe this is happening because I overfilled my oil a bit at the last oil change. Motorcycle Oil Leak
If your leak looks like mine then you might be ok with just remembering to not over fill it on next oil change. If your leak looks different then I would take it to a mechanic. Motorcycle Oil Leak

Thank you for this video! Knew I overfilled it, but kept worrying about the leak. Searched up "oil leak" and of course assumed my bike was going to blow up after reading a couple of posts lol.

i noticed a leak at the exact same place but like 2 months after the service, there is no way it is due to overfilling. Are there any other reasons?? Mine is ninja 250R (2010)

There was a recall on the first 2013 units because oil would drip on the rear tire and cause accidents.

I got the same problem but it started happening ever since I fell but when I got it from the factory it has no issues so did I do something wrong 😮

I have a leak like that on a brand new scooter . Dealership said it was residual and nothing to worry about. It leaks a round spot about an inch and a half every 2 days. Didn’t start until I put 100 miles on it. It seems to only leak after riding it.
