In part 2 we head south for a while, then follow the mighty Rhine up towards Belgium, we encounter some horrible weather and get very sea sick.... #bmw1250gsa #bmwgs1250 #motorcycletouring #bmwgsa #germany
It looks like you all had a fantastic time, even through the scary parts. Thank you for taking us along. I am looking forward to going next year hopefully.
Hi thank you for the kind words really appreciated, you must go it’s a great experience we loved it, we are setting off on our biggest adventure on next Friday so stay tuned. Ride safe all the best 👍
Hi there. Dropped on your Germany trip by chance. Really enjoyed that. 👍I too am a CHESTERFIELD BKER. Recognised HOLLINGWOOD at the end and the road into Staveley at the beggining. 10 out of 10.
Riding towards those turbines was an epic shot 👌despite that rain, that looked a beautiful place to ride. Thanks for posting, and is that Myrouteapp you use to plan the route?
Good morning, thanks again for taking a look, it was a cracking place ride the roads are just brilliant, Yes all the routes are planned on My Route app its the one I find so easy and migrates to the nav spot on... All the best
Glad to see you enjoyed Germany. I often get frustrated when encountering the absolute surprise in people’s voices when - on their first visit - they exclaim: “Wow, I did not expect it to be so beautiful!” . Sorry about the weather, though... When was this trip? And from what I can see you even did a lot of Autobahn riding, perhaps missing out somewhat on the real nice riding in our "Mittelgebirge", such as Sauerland, Taunus and Eifel? Well, next time then. When it comes to value for money for affordable and comfortable B&B’s - or “Pensionen” as we say - Germany is normaly almost unbeatable - despite your regretable bad experience in Bamberg (best stay away from the Ibis Hotel chain anyway....) Safe riding & greetings from Cologne (P.S.: I hope, no, I am sure you did not encounter as much of that "humpa-music" as the clip suggests!?😉 That you will only find in southern Germany & Austria...)
Hi guten tag, we really did enjoy Germany, safe to say we will be going back soon, it was our 1st trip so we have learnt how to get around now and not so much autobahn, the hotels and B&B s were brilliant... the music at the festival was so much fun we honestly had a great night... All the best my friend...
