You mean if you add ART pipes? not to much louder, it's mostly a deeper tone.

Dang now gotta decide. However I have to run emissions in WA so I might just go with the BERKS, but Motordyne sells the YPIPE with a built in CAT!. so difficult. haha

Yup, it needs the axle click fixed, but a dealer won't do that for free, it only happens when it gets hot out, it's on the list to 'fix' - It's just packing with grease.

f2cmadmaxx even if you tighten them yourself, the hardest thing is taking the wheel off.

Bigpoppapump Yup, i'll need a big bar, but it's just filling the area with grease, it's not a loose nut thing.

The difference running mid pipe HFC's is about 1-2 HP, so not noticable - Sound quality is about the same, i have videos of with, and without.

Hmm, difficult to say accurately. Initially, no, and, whilst i can't pin it down the exhaust (other things were changed at the time) there is a drone when you're climbing a hill at low revs. Opening the windows almost removes it, but generally and under most conditions, no drone.

@@Ricardo-qc8qg Mine was fixed by removing, cleaning, regressing and rotating the axles. There is a Nissan TSB for it actually.

This configuration is mid pipe HFC, which were custom made, they're not general sale items. They replaced the TDX2 mid pipes. If you're running the stock mid section, then you can run an HFC module on the XYZ pipe. ART pipes would be first, next to the engine, yes.

F2CMaDMaXX well I guess the design is changed now versus 8 years ago, now if you see a picture of the exhaust there’s like this muffler mid section which then splits into 2 going back, so before that muffler section is the Y pipe which means I can add a HFC module since there’s no more custom made to order ones. So it’ll be ART pipes into > Y pipe with hfc into> the rest of the tdx2 system ? Correct me if I’m wrong, and bro do you still have this Z?

@@vq35hr3 Design is the same - If you're not running the TDX2, but you are running the XYZ pipe, then you can run custom modules, HFC, muffler or straight. If you're running the TDX2, then it will replace that module space with the larger muffler in the TDX system. The mid pipes are the two that come out of that, and it was custom versions of those with a HFC in each, that i have. I still have it, but getting ready to sell as i don't use it any longer.

I never dyno'd it - they were straight bolt-ons that had proven dyno numbers already - big improvement under the curve, easily felt in daily driving.

Better luck on Monday, Tony is sometimes out racing etc over the weekend, but he'll certainly sort you out. Don't worry about the X pipe, the TDX2 *IS* an X pipe, it's pretty cleverly done.

foxIIbassoonist It can be, driving normally it's fine and cruising is very refined and relaxed.

foxIIbassoonist Can't say as i've no experience, but the stock system (TDX2) attached to stock cats, is louder than stock, so i'd yes, yes, most likely.

Has a slightly longer mid section.

@@f2cmadmaxx I Was Just Thinking That Right After I Commented Like Maybe The Length Of The Exhaust Is A Tad Bit Longer And Gives It More Of A Pitch Im Getting A 350z Tomorrow But Really Was Looking For A G35! They Both Are Manual Though Either Way But One Has A Bit More Space

The main difference with mine Vs other videos, is i know how to record sound and also used a nicer mic, they essentially sound the same IRL so don't worry about that. They were probably semi custom HFC's for the TDX2, not on the website. They barely make much difference to the sound though.
