This video shows you where in a Wildax Pulsar we installed our 1500w - 3000w inverter. It works really well for the hairdryer and toaster we have.
The hairdryer is a travel one and runs at 800w and 1000w, the toaster runs at 800w, this again is for caravans and motorhome, so is low wattage.
When in France we found we did not use electric hookups, it was a pain getting the lead out every day and plugging in. Not having electric meant Kay could not use her electric hairdryer and this became a bit of a problem for her.
When we got home I promised to put in an inverter so when we’re out and about and don’t plug in she will still be able to use her hairdryer after a shower. The bonus is we can use the toaster because I don’t like using the grill for toast.

Hi Jim and Kay. Good to see your on the mend. I just wanted to mention that the you tube motorhoming community seem at present to be obsessed with “plugging” the power bank,eco flow type battery power inverters, on there channels and it makes a refreshing change to see how a similar result can be obtained for much less cost. There are serious delays with Wildax Pulsar at the moment. I understand there are production difficulties at the factory.

Hi Jim & Kay, great to see you on the vids again. We're beginning to doubt if our Pulsar will happen after Christmas, but your vids keep us going, thanks again. Was the inverter feeding the one socket below the control panel Jim?, that looks a great idea. Cheers to you both 🍺👍 Russ and Ali.

Hi Russ, yes it feeds just that one socket. It’s in a good position there for the toaster and the hairdryer. Hope you get your Pulsar mate, one chap on face book said the price of his had gone up farm £57K to £69K, so he has cancelled the order. Crazy prices.

Your looking well Jim Just heard yesterday that our pulsar has been cancelled due Citroen pulling the plug on Motorhome dealerships everywhere in the Uk 🇬🇧 So only fiat’s auto gearbox now available in pulsar range Yeah right it’s gone up to £69000 base model without options added But still reordered because can’t see anything else that matching the pulsar set up Regards Mark

@@markwood6324 really sorry to hear about your Pulsar, £69k is a lot of money. Secondhand prices will also go up, you will love the auto gearbox, if people are still buying, which they are after 2 years now, I think bookings and orders this year are well up, your pulsar should hold its value.

@@jimandkay hope so Jim they still cannot guarantee delivery this year( been waiting since November last year and now back to square one 🥲)but hope it will by October the latest we will be off for some winter touring 😀 Keep making your great videos Regards Mark

@@markwood6324 hi Mark, our Pulsar cancelled too ☹️ but am now aware the new Pulsar on the Fiat 5.4 van will also be available as a manual so hopefully a bit cheaper than the extra approximately 8000 we were quoted for the automatic 😍
