I can attest to the unit being water "resistant" It fell out of my ATV into the snow and I did not find it for 3 weeks, still works perfect. Thanks for the video.
Let me know how that works out for you. I’m leaving on a 10 day road trip in a couple of days and I know I’m going to use the heck out of mine. Watch for a video I’m dropping on another awesome piece of kit to help with the GoPro battery/power challenge.
I was expect that during the recording, Telesin blink red light. Otherwise we have to check more closer that is it counter or not. What dou you think? To see the counter on screen is difficult? Also under sun light? How is the quality of the screen?
a very good review and thanks for making it and posting it on RU-vid. One question is can the screen orientation be changed from portrait to landscape so when it's attached the handlebars it would be easier to view. I tend to think that it does not have this feature otherwise you would have set it up0 for when you were videoing the unit on your handlebars but I have to ask. The GoPro Remote does allow you change the orientation but it's at least 3 times as much as the Telisin unit. Oh, and a BIG thumbs up. P.S. I ride a 2018 BOOM trike (my tour business) and a 2016 Indian Springfield.
Hey Kym - Sorry that I just saw this. I am not aware of a way to rotate the display. I might shoot them a note and ask them about this. Maybe that can be implemented in firmware. Ride safe!!
are you sure that you can turn on more than one camera at once with the remote ? I saw in another youtube video that it is not possible, they need to be turned on manually and then you can control the recording on all of them simultaneously
Can you power up the gopro with the remote when it's shut off and also someone says in another review that you have to re pair the remote every time you shut the camera down.
Now if I can only figure out how to turn the thing off before it totally drains the battery. The Power button changes modes, but quick, short, medium and long pushes never shut it down (dark screen) - I always end up in the charge window.....
