While it's not recommended to do tube type with a tubeless setup, you often can. But sidewall strength isn't the same and they can leak slowly. Also 💯 exactly agree with the 140 on a wide rim. I wanted 150 for my 990 cause they have a stupid wide rear rim.

Allright Kyle - I’m stuck deciding between the Rallz and the adventure. F800GS that gets ridden like my 300XC. Don’t commute - really just ride on trails and “ADV” couple night camping trips. Coming from TKC 80s - originally I was leaning to the adventure to not wear them out if we have to slab it on some upcoming longer trips.

After having run the Adv on my 950 and the RallZ on my 1190 at the same time... swapping back and forth between the two bikes, I’d totally recommend the RallZ. It’s better everywhere!

Hi Kyle, thanks for the useful info, always! I am actually looking for Motoz tractionator adventure tire for my 17 Honda africa twin. Have watched all your Motoz's videos. I have some questions. Since AT runs tube tire with 150/70-18 but Motoz doesn't have the tube tire at this size, which one I should do? At your review of RallZ on AT two years ago, which one did you use? And for AT, based on your experience, which one you would recommend (tube 140/80-18 or tubeless 150/70-18)?! Will appreciate any suggestions!! :)

@manybikes

Thanks! It really depends on the bike and the terrain. When in doubt 30 psi is a go-to when ride jumping from the road to the trail... but if I am running all road I run close to the Max PSI. When doing tough off road I run between 18 and 25 psi. I go lower on my 950 with tubes... and run a little higher on my 1190 which is tubeless. I have broken a bead on the 1190 running too low pressure... oopsie!

Hi Kyle Thank you for video. I have Suzuki DRZ 400 E for a while. In a couple weeks I need to change tire for something new, Mtoz RallZ fit very good for my style of riding (20 street, 80 dirt). I wanted to put 90/90 - 21 on the front. As for the rear, I was thinking about 130. Unfortunately there is no 130 in size 18. In this case 120 and 140 remain, I really don't know what to choose. This is the first change on an enduro for me. Stock tire is front 80/100-21 M/C 51P, tube, rear 120/90-18 M/C 65P tube.

Hi Kyle I just bough a 2023 Africa twin 1100 standard. Which comes with the karoo street tube tires. I commute to work ride a few hours every weekend and once in a while id like to go on some 2 day long trips were I may do 1000 to 2000km as well. Barrie to ottawa sudbury or windsor anything longer and id get a specific set of rims with tires and have to take a vacation. I ride in southern Ontario, which is mostly pavement, gravel roads, forest trails, farm fields with hills no real mountains. I bought the bike as a do it all big dirt bike I could still load up and put my girlfriend comfortably on the back I also love looking for trails and places I can ride off road like no service roads, trails, old quarries, fields, forests hills jumps whoops i rode dirtbikes and snowmobiles from 5 yrs old to about 21. I cant help but go down down a single track when I see it. The current tire are going to get me hurt and crash my bike. What tire would you recommend. I was looking at the adventure or rallz or do you have another suggestion?

The RallZ rear tire is my go-to tire. It works really really well and lasts a bit too! The front tire I would pair with it is the Dual Venture from Motoz or the AX41 from Bridgestone. Both are great... the Dual Venture better in mud and the AX41 better on the highway. I can provide any Motoz you like and or links in the description for Amazon / Rocky Mountain Affiliate links. @manybikes Thank you for replying. Those tires look awesome in the dirt. But how would the lower speed rating of those tires affect the high-speed performance of the AT? As it is geared to go 216kph. I'm think about going from 16front 42 back Sprocket to a 15F 44 R or 14F 42R to lower the max speed to around 190 Kph while increasing Acceleration. Which would probably make this bike insane Ly fun to ride, but if there is ever a reason to go that fast, would these tires start speed wobbling, deforming, falling apart, and potentially contribute to a high speed crash. The dualventure is rated for Q 160kph R 170kph the bridgestone ax41 speed rating is P 150kph and Rallz is rated R 170kph

Great question. The 150 in the rear is the most liked if you are looking for mileage as it is wider and the blocks are a little closer than on the 140. On the front the more common is the Tubeless 90/90-21 as it is a little wider and provides a more plated feel on the road. The most dirty guys are running the Tube Type 90/90-21 front and the 140 rear. Enjoy! www.motocityparts.com/category/22653/adventure-tires

Thanks for the inquiry. I personally get about 4k out of my RallZ tires and the front and rear wear at about the same rate. Some claim to have gotten 6k and even 8k out of a RallZ, but I myself never see those numbers. I did get nearly 6k out of a Tractionator Adventure and over 12k out of my Tractionator GPS tires though. Great all around tires... but if you want the best of street traction and the best off-road traction, the RallZ is the ticket. A softer rubber compound with bigger spaces between lugs which are off-set... the RallZ kills it. Less mileage, YES... but better performance everywhere. The RallZ is my go-to big Adv bike tire. And Yes... I was a Motoz rep before I went to work for Chap. I stopped selling the tires myself as I thought it was a conflict of interest. Now that they cut me... I have picked it back up again. When you are ready for a set, just let me know. Cheers - Kyle

I used the Yamaha recommended tire pressure of 32 front and 36 rear. This may have been too high. The first day was heavy rain and they worked well both on and off road. Day two included 5 water crossings, two difficult and three not too bad. Later that day we hit a fair amount of fresh gravel about 2 inches deep. The gravel was difficult and the front tire kept washing out. Overall I was impressed with the on-road handling in both wet and dry conditions. There is a bit of a howl but didn't bother me. It was hard to break traction through acceleration and breaking. Side slippage in mud was evident. What tire pressure would you recommend using please? Thanks!

@Kyle Bradshaw Hello Kyle, Yet there are quite a few Sites for Translating Scriptures!!! I can understand a little English when I read, but I don't understand when I listen to the sound recording of the Video..., that's why I asked you in brackets : (Do you know a possibility, a Site, thanks to which it would be possible to translate your comments and opinions into French?) Because I would also like to find a Site which allows to Translate the soundtrack of the videos... Thank you for your answer. Claude P.-S. Here is the Translation of my initial MSG, thanks to this German Site which is undoubtedly the Best!
