When im watching indian food there is always a comment about cleanliness. Guys in every country there is a culture if you dont like it then dont watch it. Remember this you always notice their cleanliness nut there is no serious virus that came from their country sometimes the cleanest person have many sickness in their body its reality. Im from philippines if got a chance to visit india i will not hesitate to eat their street foods. Atleast their not eating alive animals

To people that do not know, this is how a wooden apple is served from ages. I used to enjoy eating this 25 years ago and they used to serve it with the shell and not on a paper. Golden memories 😍 delicious yet natural choice of snacks back then.

My mom used to mix wood apple with jaggery during my childhood days. It used to taste delicious . Nowadays I don’t see wood apple at all

Kodbel!!! We had this tree at our home and we used to have it as a kid almost every other day. The ripe ones you can eat only with a little salt or sugar. No other things needed. 💗💗💗 It's been a long time since I tasted another.

What my mom does is she mixes the pulp with water and milk then she strains the juice. You will have to be patient while starining . After everything is strained she takes a mixer adds the strained juice powdered sugar ,black pepper powder and banana .Then she makes a juice she leaves the banana in pulpy small pieces. Some times she adds fresh sweet coconut shavings. Then she puts the whole thing in refrigerator till it's chilled. Just thinking about it makes me sooooo happy😊

I literally can feel the taste of it 😋😜

I'm in Sri lanka, been here since pre CONvid. 13months and counting. I've eaten everything I see, street food market food, been going to asia for 30 years, cant remember ever been sick due to food, alcohol yes. But I'm 7 months alcohol and animal products free, lost 10 kilos and hiking and running over 100km per week. I'm probably close to the fittest I've been in my life. If you eat healthy food, your body becomes resistant to bugs and bacteria plus I really think the lack of over sanitizing everything helps your body become tough and resistant to things you may get I'll from in the west. And i never take medication. AYURVEDA HAS MEDICINE FOR EVERYTHING FROM NATURE ..NAMASTE 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏

This fruit is called Kavath (कवठ) in Maharashtra, India and the this recipe is called Tikhat Kavathachi Chatani (तिखट कवठाची चटणी). You can also make sweet chocolaty version of it using equal amount of jaggery and adding a pinch of cardamom powder. You can eat it during religious fasting as well.
