I made this and it came out fabulous. I substituted butter for the olive oil and lavender salt for smoked salt. Still came out fab! This recipe is a keeper!

Ok, so I am just gonna say this, make sure you visit Nigella's website and read the recipe from head to bottom before you attempt this, unlike her prior shows, this format omits a lot of details, which is why I originally liked her show, she mentions the annoying details (no I didn't like it because she's some sort of succubus, what are these comments...). The recipe serves 14 slices, it's really heavy, so you might need to use half the ingredients. And it doesn't hold it's self for long. Read the recipe. The main tricky part is when to put in the slaked cornstarch, and that you need to be careful how hot your cream/chocolate mixture gets, and not to over-mix. So yeah again...read the website first bleh.

I made this. I followed everything and left it to chill overnight. Couldn't serve to guest as the chocolate did not set and it would flow. Only 2 days later that the chocolate set. It was such a waste as I made two tart pans meant to serve to my guests at a party.

Jeno Sira I think you did not use proper amount of corn scratch The whole trick is in there. And one more thing you could have liqueured more olive oil than the supposed amount. It makes it runny and unset.
