I sure do enjoy your videos. And you are such a cute couple. That's great to see. I just turned 77 back in July and have also finished my 7th year as a volunteer English instructor at a private school. I only work part time but that gives me enough purpose for a fulfilled life. My 300 plus Thai students are awesome. Keep your videos coming.
Hi Guys! My wife and I will also be moving into Fuse-Chan Sathorn (building A) in October. What are the internet speeds like? My wife is a teacher and I'll be doing some development work online. How is the internet speeds at the condo? Thanks and Greetings from South Africa! We will most likely be bumping into each other at some point :)
I lived at Fuse Chan on floor 31 for a year! Absolutely beautiful place! I can't wait to move back to Thailand! This brings back memories Thanks for posting bro!
It is a very nice condo - a lot of bang for 34 SqM, seems to be very good for a short-term AirBNB, but if for long-term couple seems a bit tight for 2 people - all that matters of course is if you and your wife like and can manager which you seem to adapt quite well - I have a 134 SqM 3 bedroom w/ a storage room and love the space, but not for everyone I completely know, it it has at least doubled in value I estimate given a new MRT station that was built and opened last year next to the condo complex.
I love watching your videos on condos because I will be moving to Bangkok in 2-3 years time to be a English teacher. So its good for me to know the different areas, prices, cost of living etc. So thank you so much for these great and amazing videos.
It's very good to see you, Brad and Ta. The condo it's ok, for a couple. If your condo is about 5 minutes drive to your workplace, you have more time at home than traveling to work. Do you still have the old place? Be safe and take care of yourself to both of you. 🇸🇬❤🇹🇭
That's about $500 a month rent. It's a very nice studio. Perfect for 2 people. You definitely save time driving to work and more time together. BTW, love the matching t-shirt. 😁
I would recommend you to buy the topper instead of changing and throwing the whole mattress. There are plenty of good quality topper to make you feel more comfortable when sleeping. You may consider to buy the good quality rubber topper. The landlord would not be happy and difficult for them if you ask them to move away the mattress in the condo.
Matching T-shirt....ha ha ha....that's cute. May I ask what do you guys do there? Just happen to come across your video. Thanks for showing your condo. Stay safe.
G'Day Mana Welcome to Our Life Thai We both work for an Tape manufacturer. Louis Adhesive Tapes. Ta has worked there for about 20 years and I'm into my 2nd year. I do sales/marketing for their export department and Ta is the customer service supervisor. 👍🙏 Please stay safe & stay strong. Take care Brad & Ta
Marcus Fistarol - what stop you? Just do it, life is short, it really is so live well follow your dream. Just do it, maybe one day we run into each other
Brad and Ta, I have to tell you that it is a beautiful and very clean condo with many facilities. I hope you will be happy there. Greetings and stay safe.
Thailand needs to immediately ban all noisy exhausts from cars, buses, trucks and motorbikes. The noise from some of these vehicles is unbelievable... (and I have personally been to Bangkok and other Thai cities)
A very nice place and CLOSE to work which is worth its weight in gold. Looking forward to the comparison video. Stay safe and good luck at your new place. Love the way they have a step in the lobby! :)
Great place, I love it. I'm hoping we can get together again maybe next year. My wife couldn't make it over due to the situation that has evolved with the coronavirus, and I'm stuck now in Phuket for a while. We are coming back next year for quite some time, and I am really hoping to introduce you to my wife then. I was just up there for a couple of weeks in March and was walking Lumphini Park almost every night, so I wasn't too far away from where the two of you moved. Stay safe and enjoy living so close to work!
Greetings from Canada. I haven't watched your channel for a while. Surprized to see you moved to a Condo in Bangkok. I laughed out loud when Ta grabbed the mail and you Brad said Electric City. My Thai wife says it exactly the same way.😂 You said RENT a condo. I thought you buy condo's rent apartments. You guys sure must have sold a ton of stuff I think your townhouse was much bigger. Plus you can never have too much coffee. The view is looking like the air quality is getting better, a positive of less traffic thanks to COVID19. So if your renting, did you rent out your townhouse or sell it? Glad to hear you both are still working and doing well. Yes Thai beds are very thin as I found. Stay Healthy. 👍😎
Fantastic little condo. Beautiful views and 3 swimming pools!!! You two are living the dream. Oh how I envy you. Really looking forward to seeing the rest of the facilities once the craziness subsides. Congratulations to you both. I'm really happy for you both.
nice condo guys. you've managed to get hold of some facemasks. we don't have any EU certified at this time in the UK for the public but will do hopefully in the coming months. take care of yourselves
We only use cloth masks that we can wash. They're probably the most comfortable to wear also. Whatever you chose to wear, anything is better than nothing. 👍😷🙏
13000 baht is equivalent to 565 cdn. I currently pay 435 CDN per month but I also split the utility and cable bill, which is about the same price you pay for your rent. I wish I could have my own place in Vancouver. unfortunately, I do not have the money to buy a condo at the moment
Hi there you 2 lovely people, I am from Denmark have seen all your videos on RU-vid and they are good. I have a lovely wife in Thailand myself, She lives in Sisaket with our three children, I am so happy for my woman,
Sathorn roh? Lived in a condo in bkk for 10 years or so. Got fed up being stuck in traffic, the noise and pollution. Western conveniences are plentiful though. Alot of Asian cities are the same like bkk (see above). We finally moved up to khon kaen to my wifes family village and built a small humble bungalow. We love it there and never get bored. Amazingly in the middle of nowhere we get 300 mb fibre internet! Guess we prefer the simpler country life? My view is we can always fly somewhere for a break if we get bored. Guess you got fed up with the daily commute?
Very nice condo... I need to explore that part of Bangkok... about the mattress - I spent good money on a mattress I prefer. I simply put it upon the mattress that comes with the condo. Therefore, I can take if I relocate, which I’ve done before. I’m tall, 6’2”, so I appreciate the added height of the bed with two mattresses.
Why would you drive a car such a short distance to work? Part of living in an urban area is walking. I have walked many time in Bangkok and find it very enjoyable. You seem in reasonable shape-get some exercise and eliminate some of the traffic jam in your city...
It would be extremely uncommon for a Thai to walk 2km to work in Bangkok when public transport is available. From a Thais point of view, it's: 1. Far too humid, even in the mornings. 2. Public transport is cheap. 3. Why would you walk that far and allow the sun to burn your skin! We now only very rarely drive to work. 👍😎🙏
What a wonderful video! It's about time. J Loved the update. Gee and I really laughed about all the perfume. Sure you don't need a second bedroom to hold your collection? BTW, you folks are very lucky to still have jobs. I saw a video showing people lining up for food in Pattaya. Stay safe! BTW, 5 stars for your mask protocol, Brad. So happy to hear you wash your hands before removing your mask!
Anyone who was previously working in service industry roles would be really hurting right now. Especially in the tourist areas. Government assistance money is apparently not reaching everyone. If we run out of space for perfume, Ta would ask me to move out to make more room. 👍🤣🙏
How are you handling the much reduced space? From a Townhouse to a 1 brm Condo is a big change. Can understand you wanting to reduced your travel time - Bangkok traffic has to be experienced to be understood.
I'm a new subscriber and I have really enjoyed watching your videos while being stuck at home. Glad yall are doing ok and really like your new condo. Stay safe!
I noticed you both have a nice collection of perfumes & colognes. Are perfumes and colognes more expensive in Thailand than in the states? Sorry for the off topic question, but nice condo with nice facilities. Aside from being closer to work, is there another particular reason you chose that area?
Perfume is soooo much more expensive here with the luxury goods tax. We often rely on friends from overseas bringing perfume for us when they come to Thailand. 👍😁🙏 This area has everything that we could need and it's not a tourist area, which also suits us fine.
Great value accom. I like the idea of being able to divide the living spaces (especially the kitchen being a separate room that can be closed off - I'm sick of hearing clangy dishes, the range hood, and smelling the food throughout our open plan apartment ). Thank you. ✌️👍.
Nice video. Glad you are both well. How do you find the area and how easy is the driving in that part of town? We were due to stay in a complex roughly inbetween your location and Central Rama3 in August, as wanted to try out that part of the city (as we usually stay on the East side, like BangKapi).
Well, it is no comparison to your home before. There you had space for "live". How you can life together into this 29 qm for a long time - i don't know. It means you should not own many things because there is no space enough. I hope you will be not disappointed after time to be always into a so small room. I would probably feel "traped" if not living alone. But i wish you a good time. The most important is that you love each other and you take the situation as your together choice. Glad to see more from you.... Have a good time
Renting is so much cheaper. The purchase price for a condo in this complex would start from about 3 million baht and that's for a smaller condo then the one that we're living in now. 👍😁🙏
Lots of people can't accept that buying isn't a solution. Because then you're losing the income you could have got from the cash. The yield on most investments is way better than the yield on Thai property, especially when you consider maintenance, illiquidity, legal issues and the like.
Nice view but i was shocked that window opened.. do they have child locks on the window in hall? scary if not! Nice condo tour and you will enjoy that nice view. Thanks from Ontario Canada.
Suggestion. Hang your masks front to front. In other words, don't let the front of one mask touch the other mask for the inside part that touches your mouth. Might be safer that way. Hope that makes sense.
HEY GUYS, NICE VIDEO. NOT A BAD PRICE FOR BANGKOK..I WAS WONDERING WHAT FLOOR YOU ARE ON, IT LOOKS LIKE YOU'RE UP PRETTY HIGH. THAT SHOULD BE NICE WHEN THE TRAFFIC STARTS GOING AGAIN. DO YOU BY ANY CHANCE KNOW HOW MUCH THAT 2 BEDROOM CONDO ACROSS FROM YOU GOES FOR, RENT AND PURCHASE? AND CAN YOU GET IN IT TO SHOW US WHAT IT LOOKS LIKE? STAY SAFE GUYS, LOOKING FORWARD TO YOUR NEXT VIDEO.
We're on the 22nd floor. I have plans to video available condos from time to time in this complex, but perhaps not until things get back to normal a little. For a 2 BR, it would greatly depend on the level of inclusions, but the rental price would be upwards of 20,000 baht per month. 👍😁🙏
@@OurLifeThai, THAT IS NOT UNREASONABLE BUT IT WOULD DEPEND ON THE VIEW AND THE LEVEL. I AM NOT THAT FAR FROM 10,000 BAHT HERE IN KORAT AND I'M ON THE BOTTOM FLOOR AND ALL I HAVE IS A STUDIO APARTMENT.
There are 4 levels of undercover parking in our building and I haven't had a problem thus far getting a spot. I'm not driving much these days. No one has a reserved parking spot. 👍🙏
Looking at your T-shirts,...are you guys from California?...the lonely older guy watching from Glendale, CA is just curious. If Ta has another lovely female friend she can introduce to me, I'd take the next flight to Thailiand next week...Oops,...I forgot, they haven't lifted the travel just yet...😎😜🤦♀️🤷♂️
I know this place, almost stayed here and inspected a few rooms too but ended up living in Soi Sri Bamphen. This was at the end of 2017. I used to go to Tops a lot which isn't too far.
Hello Brad and Ta love the new condo. The amount of storage you have is amazing. So I’m thinking if you go to a market and there’s someone selling plates Ta can by some, right Brad?😅
Nice informative video. Not sure about your mask removal procedure! I feel that washing your hands AFTER removal of the mask is preferable, because the outside of the mask will harbour all the germs you may have collected out on the street. But maybe my thinking is wrong on this! Same goes for removal of shoes/flip flops or whatever. Surely washing hands after is better!
Hilarious lol we live in the same building A!!! I'm on the 10th fl same position as you except corner of building. I pay 12000/m. The only downside is kitchen and bathroom has no ac Your place is slightly more modern. You'll love it. Would really like to invite you for a beer/coffee /dinner once COVID-19 saga is over. Enjoy your new place, looks nice and cozy
G'Day Nicolas It certainly is a small World. 😁 We would love to catch up when the crisis eventually subsides, but until then, we're keep our social distance. 👍🤣🙏 Please stay safe & stay strong Brad & Ta
Hi Brad and Ta. Welcome to Sathorn. I have been staying in this area for 2 years now. My current condo is 10 mins walk from your condo. Chan Road has heaps of good food to eat and explore. I am at Central Plaza Rama 3 every weekend to do my supermarket shopping. Enjoy your stay in the city and stay safe always 😊
Love to watch your video and the apartment.... even though it.s small but look neat...wow... lots of perfumes...looks amazing... By the way how did you meet?
Ta would never get on a scooter with me in Bangkok. 🤣🤣 Plus, as I've never had a bike license before, it would be impossible for me to get one in Thai.
@@OurLifeThai I also never had a bike license and got my first one in Bangkok, the theory test was in English and the practice test was a joke. But I do not really like driving on a scooter in the city, especially on the big streets where people are driving much to fast for my taste, so I can totally understand Ta
