You guys are fabulous!! I think the microphones could be better placed. We lose the impact of the melody vocal for most of the piece; there is just a lot more sound off the ensemble (which are BOMBBB). Redistribute mics or work to have your lead vocalists stronger in the comparison. You all are HELLA talented. Love and light:) thank you for sharing this with us!
@@LaurenRebaM Then (since they didn't use mics) they should have used a mic for the lead vocalist so that those low notes CAN carry, or had a smaller ensemble. Low notes don't carry well, but the audience shouldn't be straining to hear the lead because the ensemble is overpowering them.
@@dearroseprincess289I absolutely agree. As much as I loved the leads voice. I turned off off after a minute and a half cause I couldn’t hear her. Either the backing vocals need to work on being quieter or they need to hook a mic to the lead. There’s no point in a lead being there if they get drowned out. She really has to fight to be heard and it should never be that way.
That sounded great although the lead vocalist could have done with a microphone or get the backing choir to pipe down when she's singing the lower register verses.
