@@hanay6956 maybe you didn’t understand shang, but his comment eluded to the coordination, process, professionalism of the moving people. i don’t think he meant mentally as NO ONE is alike mentally, though cultural norms in a nation creates a sense of community (meaning, citizens are alike in this sense). i’ve been blessed to travel a lot, and the asian nations that I have been to are almost alike (sometimes drastically different) in the sense of technological advancements, and culturally. I for one found Korea VERY advanced technologically, more so than Japan. Korea’s culture is alike with their work ethic (just not as obsessive) compared to Japan, there are a lot of difference but overall it’s all just a matter of preference. BTW I mention Korea because I have more experience with Korea. ANYWAYS, both nations are incredible and have developed exponentially from war times, colonialism, etc. It’s nice to see that there are many people not following orientalist thought, and are willing to learn about other cultures :)

I don’t speak Japanese, but I could tell exactly what was happening when you and your husband were sitting on the floor in your empty home. It’s such an emotional final goodbye. You reminisce on all the beautiful moments you’ve had, the good and bad times, and it’s like you can see it all clearer than you ever did. And walking out the door is a test in strength you didn’t realize you’d have to pass. But the next phase of life is something so magnificent to look forward to that you do eventually say goodbye, and you walk out the door, and you venture into the next part of your journey. Thank you for sharing with us.

Oh my god, it's like watching a movie. I love how they're very appreciative with their old house, how Moto was showing Sutan the areas they'd always sit and play together, and how Moe and Moto just sit down and reminiscing memories before going to their next place. The moving company is superb!!

@@wzukr That photo in the video IS Moe. It's from John Paul Foster's book 'Now A Geisha', where he photographs her life as a Maiko (apprentice Geisha) up until her graduation to a Geisha. Man, what a professional company. A well trained, coordinated team, careful, courteous and considerate, such great attention to detail. In my part of the world, the moving people are much much more casual and don't inspire confidence. Whilst moving is a long time between jobs, reputation and repeat business is still important.
