@@Chicagangbang Kids (and pets) can get very overwhelmed when they move into a new environment for the first time, moving away from where they lived for their entire life can be a very stressful experience for them, and by setting up her room up first they wanted to show her that everything was going to be okay.

@Tataki Kensaki A lot of other cultures have the same mannners but the kids don't follow it. Because at the end of the day, culture can pass from one generation to the other if the upbringing is good (from parents to school and even peer group) This family is genuinely caring and interested in passing their cultural values to little Sutan. Very heartwarming.
Sutan's such a daddy's girl, but you can tell she really looks up to her mom for guidance. This family has the perfect dynamic. Both parents are so loving and present, and that's why Sutan's so expressive and happy.

I know this video is 2 years old but I’m really impressed by the movers in Japan. They’re so polite and say “thank you.” In America they don’t say thank you and we’re lucky if they’re half way professional.
When I moved into my new home 3 yrs ago I couldn't even find a mover in the area. I had to carry all my stuff in my car, bit by bit, and do all the work myself.
In just a few weeks of watching Sutan, I grew to feel affectionate towards this intelligent and most beautiful girl and especially how she is so excited to be engaged with Mommy and Daddy. Bless your family today and always.

Reminds me so much of the time when my wife and I bought our first home. At that time my daughter was the same age as Sutan and she was also a little scared of new home, but quickly started running room to room shouting as loud as she could. Good times!
When we moved our four year old was all excited about the new place. Then at the end of the day he was like, “when are we going home?” And I was like, “this is home now,” and he was all confused. I guess he thought he was on a vacation where we move all our stuff to another house then move it back.

I miss Japan. American moving company I used in the past wasn't that bad. Workers were very nice, and everything went smooth. Japan has always "Omotenashi" mind in everything in every profession. Indeed, moving is a big deal for a little child. I wish your family a smooth transition to a new home!
I love how cognizant you were of the enormous change in a wee person’s life when the family moves. By setting up her room first, you gave her a safe space while she figures out her new world. When hubby scooted in the room with her and reintroduced Sutan to all of her possessions and then sat down and read to her, I recognized that you two had thought this through so well that this little lady will fly through acclimating herself to her new surroundings. 😍 My hubby and our sons all worked in the moving business, and they had a clever thing they would do when packing up house with young children. Because if can be traumatic for small children to move, he would give them box of crayons and a brand new box to decorate however they wanted after he wrote their name of the box, for example Tommy’s Room. Then he would ask them to make sure it was special because that was the box where they were going to pack their most favourite possessions. It worked like a charm and drivers reported back that the kids would be SO excited when they spied their box coming off the truck.

People should respect and appreciate more on the effort that the youtuber who sharing their life to give some positive energy to all of us. When I watch videos of this cute little family I always find myself "aaaaaw-ing" every 3 seconds. The way they act around each other is just so wholesome and sweet.
As someone who is also a daddy's girl, i think daughters are mostly inclined to their dads at a young age because I've noticed that dads are more sweet to daughters and also playful. Dads are like the playground because they play with you and spoil you while Mothers are kinda like kindergarten because you learn from them more. But it's funny to think that i used to cry more looking for my mother despite being a daddy's girl 😆

As someone who moved around a lot as a child and only really settled in a permanent house a couple of years ago, it's so interesting to see her reaction! i can see why she's so confused at entering the new place and everyone's calling it home suddenly 😆😆
