I think sometimes its because you dont have anyone. Then you start thinking about that other person. But the reason the two of you broke for is still probably there.

Addictions to “invisible” things (like love) and addictions to things everyone needs to survive (like love) are hard because they come from a deep wound and especially when you’re a woman you’re stigmatized as stupid for repeatedly making the dysfunctional choices you were taught or developed

Yes! When you have trauma and self sabotage it's so difficult to stop making the same mistakes. And to grow.

The issue here is this lady made her ex-husband her entire life and has low self-esteem. I’m not being self-righteous but am speaking from my own relationship experiences with other men where I couldn’t let go myself. I used to have major self-esteem issues. I’m also speaking from being a man. My advice to women: All men are naturally creeps. They can’t help it. Men are visual. Even if they haven’t actually traded up to someone prettier or younger, they are thinking about it. Have your own life outside of your man and always be prepared for them to pull the plug.
