Really glad to hear that you’re taking your dog along as well. Have come across so many abandoned pets because people moved cities/ countries which is really disgusting
Try giving your dog meds prescribed by doctors to calm him down and as for baby try booking advance flight with bassinet in front row, it helps alot! My cousin came from london and getting these two was a life saver!
One of my colleagues lost her pet golden retriever because the AC of the car they were travelling in broke down and the dog died almost immediately of over heating and cardiac arrest. Saying this because Delhi at this time is infernal. Please make sure your dog is well hydrated and seated where there is good cooling. Dogs also get very anxious so you might want to talk to a vet about it before hand. Carry emergency medicine. I don’t have any idea about travelling with a baby. I’m sure someone can guide you regarding that though. Safe travels.
@@SR-mv2mf It’s happening a lot in North India due to heat wave . I saw many animal rescuers posting about dogs and cats passing out due to heat stroke .
@@SR-mv2mf she asked for a suggestion and because of my personal experience I shared. Many friends of mine lost their pets recently due to heat wave condition. Doesn’t harm to be a little alert. My colleague forever regrets not knowing about heat exhaustion in dogs and herself shares the story for people to be careful and prepared
A tip: As the baby's ears are very sensitive and the sound of the plane is pretty loud, babies usually start crying, so my dad told me that u should feed the baby either milk or water, that actually helps to i think balance the pressure in the ears or something like that ....... So they don't cry I think a pacifier might help too but i am not sure, never tried it..... Carry napkins/ towels (for vomit, etc) and also extra baby blankets ( just in case) cus airplanes are usually pretty cold.....
Sound advice. Just note that you cannot feed a baby younger than 6 months water. Their kidneys are not developed enough and they could get water intoxication. So, breast milk or formula only.
If you think it would help, ask your vet for a sedative for your travelling dog. You might want to try it out a few times before flying off to see if there are any adverse reactions.
I travelled with my new born many times. Get noise cancelling headphones for babies if you are travelling on plane. Get all baby stuff properly like their nappies wipes formula medicines and other things. Get lots for clothes for them. You can carry some extra clothes for you as they came vomit on you or can have any potty accident so you will be covered up. Don’t forget to get your headache medicine as you can get some as baby might cry for longer time and it can affect your mental health. Get your and babies water bottle. Drink lots of water of water will help you to calm down. All the best
Omggg! Your accent in Hindi is too good now😭🖐🏻✨ Also, if you guys are moving to Delhi with your new lil member, rethink cuz pollution and temperature is at its peak :( (absolute simp of polyglots
See one thing is there if you are moving from plane then there is a small crib for the newborns and for dogs there can be a sperate compartment if not the you can ask air hostess for a funnel for dog which will keep him nice and cozy
Hey I have lived in Delhi my whole life but recently took up job in sg because I had a baby. Due to Delhi pollution and extreme weather conditions my husband and I decided it was best to move even if it meant less support from our family. Singapore and better education and healthcare so no hate intended but pls rethink once
I think it’s the best decision to move closer to family. We all have been brought up with family being around and it adds so much to the value system of the child and education system and healthcare is undoubtedly very nice in India. If you go abroad, you will see the expenses versus the care that they give so yeah, pollution is a problem on those four months, but if you see the bigger picture, the loneliness, the lack of community, India is the best choice
Sorry, I beg to differ. I have been to Singapore and lived there for a while and came back to India and that’s the best thing to do. Moving away from your homeland from your parents from your community ads so much to your own personality that alone, what the child goes through, because we all have grown up with our parents and community around, and I would like to give the same upbringing to my kid. As long as healthcare and education is concerned, the healthcare and education of how affordable and nice it is in India. You will only realise in a few months shifting anywhere in abroad, and about pollution, yeah, those four months are bad, but apart from that, if you see the larger picture, I think it’s a great move
2 most important things - First, you can arrange for your baby's pram/stroller to be with you even after checking in by asking to gate check/door deliver the stroller. What this means is, you get to keep your baby's stroller from the time your exit your vehicle till you board the flight! Gate checking/door delivering the stroller also ensures that you get the stroller back as soon as you get off fhe airplane in India or wherever it is that you have stopovers at. They give you an additional tag or sticker which you have to attach to the stroller once you confirm to gate check it. 2nd tip : baby's ears are way too sensitive and they will not be able to bear the air pressure during the take-off and landing. So ensure that you either breastfeed, formula feed or even use a pacifier to ensure that your little one is sucking onto something during both these times. This will enaure rhat rhe air pressure does not affect your LO's ears at all. Extra clothes for your LO, extra diapers, wetwipes and a changing pad - these are somethinga that people tend to forget during the last minute, so keep these ready well in advance to avoid getting shocked in the worst way possible!
I travelled with my 2 months old. At the time my doctor advisedme to use saline nasal spray( sterimar ). As if will keep the baby's nose clean and you could use a small dose of paracetamol then the one advised by doctor to ensure the baby sleeps throughout the flight. You can give the baby paracetamol 45 mins prior departure and when the plane takes off feed the baby or give formula. Hope it helps. Packing blankets, jackets and extra clothes is essential. Pack some toys or things that your baby loves to use when your baby turns moody. The airport officials allow water flasks when you have a baby. Hot water can be asked for from the flight attendants when required. Book for a priority check in.
Ask for infant seat for more leg space and you will be given preference for boarding as you have an infant with you. (I have 2 infants so I know) EASY😄
Congratulations on moving , and during take off and landing make sure that you feed Tara and also insert cotton in her ears both of these tips will be useful because of air pressure in the flight And their might be a baby room where you can change her , feed her and relax
As everyone said check if your airline provides bassinet and book in advance. Its very helpful. Keep your babies medicines handy in case you need them during the flight. You can talk to your pediatrician and ask for medicines which if need be can be used during the flight. Cover your baby's ear with cotton and whenever he or she cries breastfeed the newborn and specially during takeoff and landing. It helps in maintaining the balance. You also keep eating at regular intervals so that there is no shortage of breast milk. Good luck and have a safe journey.
U will leave as a strong soldier against the weather & great foodie with high standard if taste, strong verbally , class & ofcrs the local society vibes🗿✨
Bassinet. Baby carrier for on the go napping. During take off and landing, it may help if baby drinks milk or has pacifier to ease ear pressure. All the best :) Journeys less than 8-9 hours will be easier than the 24+ hours flights. They usually sleep through
My family are well seasoned travellers and I can give you 1 good suggestion so your child has no issue with pressure. Use ear plugs for your baby. Also for your pet, check on licenses as well. You cannot just bring it in without any import licenses in India. Band bhaj jatie hai yaar. Above all, hope you will be back to SG soon as it is a lovely place to stay here. Finally, have a good flight
So u have to pack all the baby's stuff like diapers and milk bottles for the baby. U can not make the milk but u can pump it. Make sure that all this stuff is in a carry on❤❤
I dunno about dog but the best things i can suggest is that try to get firstclass and if not try keep the baby awake before the plane so the baby can sleep thru out the flight and i do recommend bringing some easily accessible toys😊
All the best for a safe journey! Excited that you will be in Delhi Hope to get to see you in person Tips for newborns: the whole feeding while take off/landing thing actually works. If not fpr ear pain then as a pacifier. But i wouldnt use a bottle. Also since you have a baby use it to skip any airport/customs queues
Get noise cancelling headphones for babies it’ll help with ear popping during flight also pacifier and you can request for baby bassinet in advance some airlines charge for it some give it for free but you have to let them know and also keep some toys handy and you can water with you to make formula you just have to let them know that it’s for baby’s formula if you’re formula feeding I had whole container of baby formula powder and water bottle with me they let me go after doing testing with baby powder of course also summer infant baby stroller is very handy it can easily fold and fit into overhead compartment
Make homemade toys or maracas from bottles, try to make your child and dog tired so they can sleep during the flight. Take a long leg space wala seat because it will be easy for dog.
Why are you moving 😭 I live in Singapore and always wanted to request you to do a meet n greet. I know you will be busy with the moving now but please organise a meet n greet!!!
Start feeding your baby as soon as the flight takeoff also when is about to land down...I would do same thing with my son and he slept complete 2:30 hr flight travel
Lot of times when i was small my parents would take the risk of booking the 3 farthest seats the window, aisle and then the seat next to the window or aisle unless the plane was severely overbooked no-one wanted the middle seat so u could get that for free
Shreya pls do review tir tir foundation, its so much hyped these days as perhaps its launching in India soon, and share your shade match too as its shade range is very extensive
Yay! Ur going to live in my city 🎉 Congratulations🎉 For babies and dogs there ears are very very sensitive so u should cover the ears with cottonbuds During shifting u should write ur name and phone no. Cuz if it gets lost the person can call u Anyway congratulations🎉🎉
