Seattle winters are mostly rainy, with a few days of snow at best. In this episode, winter shows up and show's us what we can expect every year around November. The best way to stay warm in cold weather is layers. Multiple thin layers! That way if you get to warm you can open a couple of layers to cool off. That's from year of hunting and outdoor life

Hint for winter collect things to make over the long cold days. Pelts are better in the winter also. Learn to tan them then you can make clothes or blankets out of them.

Welcome! I'll enjoy following your adventures, as many of them will likely parallel ours. Just discovered our family (and channel) has a lot of similarities. We moved to North Idaho from Los Angeles. If I were going to live off the land, I would stay in Western WA. I can grow a garden year round there, all I need are some cold frames.
