Well now this was an interesting video and a very nice zero turn. If I were you I would install the optional flex forks and your ride would be alot smoother.

l mow 4acres on .y 60"in 2.5 with 1 botle of water stop . after a repair to a heaver hidro Munting brackets l now love but it did brake three before l installed all three heavy 3/8 " now I smile when my nieghbor is still mowing 30 minutes or more on his orange machine.

I'd like to see you do that test again but instead of turning around at each end, go in a circle around the field. I bet it would be faster.

Haha go in a circle? Or in a square/rectangular pattern? Yes it would probly be quicker, more grass cut with each pass. BUT that would defeat the purpose of it being a zero turn mower see. Sure ppl use the damn things however they want, even myself, but mainly when you're mulching or bagging.

I have a JD 7 series zero turn. It will cut the same speed as your Hustler but my God, the ride is horrendous! The speeds of these mowers ability needs some re-engineering to match the ride quality, but not compromise the quality of the cut. Really enjoy your videos!

Mower speed =10.3 mph: (there are 43,560 sqft per acre; 7.5 acres = 326,700 sqft; mower is 6 ft wide, therefore 326,700 /6 = 54,450 linear ft; /5280 ft per mile = 10.3 mph): without overlapping, slowing down to turn or dodge objects.

Hustlers are badass but that little canopy you have doesn't look like it would last a full season. And still, why can't we hear the damn engine?

Probably the best riding Zero Turn Mower is Ferris because of their suspension system. Probably the only thing that could beat these high hp and big deck zero turns would be Ventrac's wide area finish mower.

Painfully fast. 😂 We also need to take into consideration normal conditions/obstacles like trees, landscapping, buildings, etc Like I told my kids while growing up "just because you can doesn't mean you should." 😮 All kidding aside, very informative video!! An acre is about 208.7 x 208.7 might measure that out and get after it. That looks like it will shake you and the mower to pieces..

Now do a timed test mowing at a decent speed mowing like you did in this video is just beating up your equipment and your body. Take care of yourself!
