Good job to create this beat. It's a real pleasure to follow you making beat and to see how fun it is for you. Thanks for your vids and your smile. Have fun and take care !
This is my first experience with your vidoes, and just into the second quarter. You cause my attention when you said there was "some kind of flute, or something" in the music on the 45 rpm record. Having been a music "freak" all my life and listening to everything from Beethoven to ZZ Top, I'm pretty sure what you heard is a oboe, which is actually a reed instrument, kinda like the father of the clarinet, who's father would be a bassoon, a much lower projection of a vibrating reed. Just thought I would share. Thanks for what you do for those of us who can't do without!
Thank you. Im picking up my live 2 tomorrow. Coming from the Original MPC Studio, FL studio, and Beatmaker 3 on the ipad. Really looking forward to this.
Just got the Live 2! Very difficult to get in to coming from the Octatrack and DIgitakt... But it's dope to have pads! Are you running this through the heat again? Drums are knocking.
I love these. A noob question, how do you get to the global setting to change semi tones like you did? And how does going up five semi tones make it faster? I though you would need to change the tempo to go faster/ slower? I am very new to all this lol
Cool content! Lately im into sampling my own Instruments and recording percussions into the MPC chop it sequence it. Beat done. Do you sample synth or write your own melodies from time to time?
I love the sound of my mpc3000 but these newer ones make it so much easier to make bangers. If I have a couple hours to make a beat it’s on vintage gear , if I have 45 mins it’s on the mpc x or live ii.
3:53 when in chop mode. I cannot get the sample to play automatically so I can hit the pads where I want. The sample only plays when I hit and hold the first pad. What setting do I need to activate the auto play? I have tried pressing play and play start but nothing.
I think I know what might be going on. Hey, do you happen to have Instagram or email? Reach out to me on my Instagram and I can send you a video on how to get this fixed. My Instagram link is in the description of his video.
@@malobeats I really have to thank you! this is so inspiring . I have my MPC for 1 yr now and sampled dust. But you make me wanna learn to use it. Sampling from vinyl and having the same fun as you have! . Again thank you for this excellent content!
Anyone know how to get rid of the “pop” sounds on the transients while sampling ? Im using rca cables in to an iphone, ive tried adjusting volume , db levels, output levels in different tracks and programs. It seems to come from the initial sample volume. Generally, i try to sample at lower volume and normalize or process for more noise as needed…tips would be greatly appreciated ! Getting a good sound from sampling via iphone is the new goal..
am I able to use studio monitors with mpc live 2 in standalone mode? while having the turntable connected ? my in built monitor blew up so got to use monitors once it's repairs anyone able to help?
I’ve loaded samples labelled with key for the sample editor to tell me it’s in a different key Very confusing for someone who doesn’t know what each note sounds like I only think I’ve got going is knowing it sounds terrible and I need to do something to it 😂
Hey Malo! Shout out to your incredible beat making skills. Just wanna let you know that you've been an inspiration for me to start my own RU-vid channel! I hope we can connect as I work to grow my channel.
