Force users: Like this comment to let Akai know we want Stems as well. Shout out to the Akai Pro Dev Team for a great release. Bringing a feature like STEMS to fruition in standalone is an impressive feat. Enjoy MPC users!
I get a Numark PT01 Scratch turntable yesterday, today Stems on Standalone comes out, tomorrow I sample a shitload of vinyl. What a great Birthday this has been!!
WHAT??? Is THIS what Stems does. Mind. Blown!! Oh man... I can finally replace that drums on "Killing Me Softly With His Song" by Fugees - I've wanted to do this for 26 years. Oh man, thank you Akai!!
You're on the clock to make this available for the Force. We didn't spend our money to be left behind with a machine that is far more capable than the MPC lineup.
I just wish akai social media team to respond to comments like "are you still supporting force" but they just answer compliments and "pagação de pau" as we say in Brasil 😂
If Akai is reading this, there’s a problem with my MPC Stems Standalone version, the Audio quality is not very good, most of The Audio sounds muffled. Do I need to submit a Ticket to get this problem fixed?
First Apple Music... integrates with Djay Pro and now Akai with the standalone stems... Man what a time to be a Dj and Producer I love technology and making music.
We Force users rejoice at the further mpc development! watch in amazement as the features and plugins that absolutely could run on the identical system board force hardware shares aren't implemented for us! wonder at the slow walk to fix all the old long reported bugs even!
If you purchased stems before availability in standalone your just about as pissed as I am cause it’s told me to activate stems by logging in to inmusic when it’s all ready there and still doesn’t work in standalone. I’m calling it a night.
Me too. I purchased stems, logged in, saw it registered but didn't see any download icon or anything. My mpc one is registered there also. That's twice now....geez.
@@jeroendeclercq7580Yo, just skip the coffee outside for one day and throw that $10 at the service. We gotta keep the company movin'! You really wanna see MPC disappear? What you're sayin' is straight-up ridiculous!
@@Might-Be-Ai Im wondering why after the update I get a screen that tells me to activate stems. All I have is the stupid stems icon and no stems separation. I’m banging my head against the wall here!
@@foolishcoyote. Make sure you have the latest update for MPC Firmwire and also the MPC app/software. For me the downloaded didn't show up months ago when stems was only for the software/on computer, until I updated my firmwire and software update. I would make sure you have those updated on your MPC. Besides that I would press refresh or try logging out and logging back in of you inMusic account on the MPC. If those ideas don't work I would contact AKAI/InMusic help, through email/help ticket, they have helped me in the past very quickly with issues I have had. Good luck! **PS: The download button is just right next to where it says Stems, on the right side, if I am not mistaken its just a square box type icon on the far right side of where it says Stems on the MPC**
How do I contact support???? When I hit update it says update not done due to internal error. It has been saying this for weeks , what's the support e mail??????
Just not sure the Force is actually important to Akai as such it has a really uncertain future. Choosing to go with the Force is a pretty brave move and always has been. It had a lot of promise but Akai never seemed to be geared toward it's success.
Not really the algorithm sucks for standalone it needs alot of work just did a test between the PC and standalone the wave files are different granted each MPC is different but man this is bad luckily I only paid 10 bucks
Apparently it’s not the same algorithm used for desktop version. It’s the zplane lite, aka lower quality yet still takes longer. I’ll take it, I purchased my mpc because it’s standalone hardware. In all honesty , I am mildly disappointed about it.
It would be cool if you could choose which algorithm to use on standalone. In most situations I could handle waiting an extra minute, in order to get “good” stem separation.
@@AkaiProVideo Or Flex Beat! Come on Akai, why is it taking so long to transpose these to the Force?... Been like a year waiting for flex beat, and now this too?....
I recently purchased The MPC Stems Standalone version and upon processing the Stems the Sound Quality of each Stems sounds Muffled, specially the Drums, buy overall all the Stems that are coming out upon processing do not sound good. I need a better version of this please.
I must be pretty alone not caring about these things. I would love to see lists of other improvements on operation. What about a better mixer? better busses? being able to label stuff, being able to reorder things....
If you have an original MPC One (not MPC One+), go find your spare ethernet cable in the basement, closet or attic beforehand It's worth noting that installation is a bit different for the original MPC One because doesn't have WiFi capabilities. You'll need to physically connect your MPC via ethernet cable to your modem or router to connect to the internet in order to activate your plugins. Womp Having used Stems in MPC software though, I'm excited regardless
The stem separation feature won’t show on my live 2 screen. There isn’t any option to adjust the sample in 4 sections like previous videos. The sample splits into 4 elements but I can’t control them individually in one sound like the videos
Hopefully this may help. I purchased Stems for standalone but when I went to activate it on the MPCX it didn't't give me the option. I just logged out of my InMusic account (via the MPCX) and logged back in. After that the ACTIVATION tab showed up next to Stems. I clicked that, then it downloaded, now it works.
i can live with making stems on the mac. I would rather love to see the BLEASS Arpeggiator for the MPC or something as good. And more Midi Mangling tools which let you make variations of midi files. What also would be nice is the groove extractor from ableton. So i could throw in audio of some famous drummer for example, they get analyzed and i can then use that groove for my beats. Oh: and i would LOVE to see the STOLPERBEATS J DILLA Eurorack Module ported to the MPC ! (and btw stems for the mac is really good. As is Delay Pro and Flavor Pro!)
I went to the activation after it downloaded and the only thing showed up was MPC stems. I don’t have all six of the blue buttons that say activate like you do on yours, but I am using the MPC key 61 do you have any advice?
