I have watched a good bit of your videos. Test drove a 2500 mega cab limited a few months ago, and a 3500 HO crew cab. Was blown away with the ride and interior. Just traded my '22 F450 for a '23 Limited 3500 HO... Taking delivery on it tomorrow. Fingers crossed I don't have the troubles you did. Love the vids, cheers!

You know I’m at 28k miles now, so it’s just about time to change it again. I’ll make sure I pay attention when I change it to see if I get an increase!

Apples and oranges comparison. Different loads, different elevations/weather/tires/trailer wind resistance. Diesels do generally get better mileage the more miles are put on them so comparing 27k to 250k miles...? Do a scientific test if you want real comparison.
I think it’s useful to not always do direct apples to apples because in the real world loads are a little different. The first test I did on my truck was with this sale boat just different direction. That old truck pulling the 5th wheel was roughly equal in total elevation. Ups and downs but from Banff to our house is only a +300 ft elevation gain. That truck was pre-def, so I think also makes it interesting to compare the massively bigger load to an easy one.
Also, TFL does the scientific stuff, I don’t have the budget or time to compete with them. 🤷♂️ so I have to do mediocre tests with the intent to show real world variation.
