You guys have literally became my go to content there is no signs of you guys slowing down there's too much material for you to cover. Keep up the good work
I always found Reed's ability to stretch pointless. His intelligence is far more useful and I feel it is the true reason for his nickname "Mr Fantastic."
I mean.. this video makes the point that his ability to stretch is not pointless. It can clearly be utilized for a range of different purposes. It's just not grandiose or glamorous. Honestly.. Reed is one of the biggest points of body horror in the marvel universe imo. A lot of panels of him using his powers are fucking freaky looking lol But his intelligence is definitely his strongest characteristic. Imagine a Reed Richards with the IQ of your average, stereotypical redneck.. "Fantastic" he would not be hahaha
Fox live action for Scott or Cyclops made me hate him because he was so damn lame, never used his powers to their fullest. Same for reed his powers do seem like a by-product, Plastic man is definitely more suited for that hands on approach. But i think it IS cool he still has a second set of powers to rely on when all else fails
One thing I really wish they would do to Reed in a future adaptation is bringing those negative qualities of him that really haven't been seen before outside of the books. Like negative qualities even if they're for the right reason. He's stubborn, eccentric and trying to fix EVERYTHING
The cosmic rays that transformed and mutated the Fantastic Four, acted upon their core personalities in order to grant their distinctive powers Reed Richards always stretched himself to learn all that he could in every field that he could. Expanding his mind to learn more. The cosmic rays gave him a body that could expand with his mind Susan Storm had an inferiority complex, she lived a life in the shadows of those around her and she felt invisible to the people she thought better than her such as her brother and Reed so she became invisible Johnny Storm was always a hot head. Impulsive, immature, quick to anger, childish, a spoiled brat. His hot headed nature, his core personality, allowed him to burst into flames. Ben Grimm was an intelligent man but he felt insecure to the super genius that was his best friend, Reed. He believed himself to be just the muscle of his friendship. he was also insecure about his looks as well, believing himself to look as ugly as a rock. the cosmic rays turned him into a rock covered powerhouse Reed Richards was the person who discovered Spider Man's black costume that he brought back from Battleworld in the first Secret Wars was actually an alien parasite, later known as Venom Reed Richards may not have been the first person to invent unstable molecules used in their costumes. The X Men use them in their costumes but I think they got them from Richards, as well as the team known as Power Pack. Four human children given powers from a member of the humanoid horse like Kymellian race named Aeilfyre "Whitey" Whitemane. Whitey left them his sentient "smartship" named Friday which created their costumes made from unstable molecules Franklin Richards happens to be a member of Power Pack with the codename Tattletale and later known as Powerhouse. his Power Pack costume can be seen at 18:15 Doctor Doom is believed to be even smarter than Reed
John Kransinki is The Perfect Man for The Role of Reed Richards/ Mr. Fantastic of The Fantastic Four in The Marvel Cinematic Universe for Marvel Studios’s Fantastic Four Film Remake with Emily Blunt as Susan Storm-Richards/ The Invisible Woman, Zac Efron as The Human Torch, and Ebon Moss Bachrach as Ben Grimm/ The Thing
What if the sentinel became the juggernaut? Dude held two realities apart by sheer strength alone, I'd be very interested in what he could accomplish with that kind of power buff.
He thinks with all of his body. Tony Stark too. The have far more nervous cells, and some other cells can turn rapidily into neurons. That's why he has so much memory. And with this arsenal to go, he can find and create an absurd number and range of answers.
His ability is not useless unlike normal people reed don't get brain fog or injury easily due to his powers his brain neurons can stretch as much as he wants so he can think and he don't have to take care of his body he is immune to all diseases and can't be hurt by normal means meaning he is always healthy and energetic.
There’s a comic where spider-man becomes obsessed with saving the city from falling apart and uses reed in his web shooters across the entire city to hold it together and reed was still alive
I'm so happy you guys made this video. Mister Fantastic is my favorite Marvel character because of how unique his powers are and how cool it would be to have in real life. Why would you not want to be the smartest person alive? RESPECT THE MF!
Considering he doesn't about trying to steal Reed's wife Susan from him this guy really needs yo find a woman who isn't taken. Reed should say "Stay away from my wife or I'll either drain your home of water or blow up your entire kingdom."
Everyone: "Reed Richards is the smartest man alive" MCU: What about that 1 time when you and the Illuminati went up against Wanda an- Reed Richards: WE DON'T TALK ABOUT THAT 1 TIME
Well, based on the fact that he couldn't survive being turned into string cheese by Wanda, and having only read the title of this video, I'm gonna guess no...
The elastic superpowers suit Susan more than Reed, seriously, it would be a huge improvement, plus the invisibility and force field powers are not great, they are pathetic and useless
Incidentally.. you made it a point to say you looked up "toroid" and still said it incorrectly. Theres only one "i".. its not toy-roid. And M'kraan has typically been pronounced "em-kron"
Once the red-faced screaming fans of this guy and Plastic Man start nerd-spewing, Mr. Fantastic's abilities will skyrocket in nature by the writer reaction to that.
Idk about perfect, but aesthetically, he's not a bad choice. And he's a decent actor. So they get an B+ for casting him.. but it's unlikely he becomes a permanent feature of the MCU. He's got a family, getting older, and has been doing more directing/writing than acting lately so I don't think he'd make that move with his career. But I could see him doing more cameo shit possibly. As much as I love the idea of a new, and good, Fantastic 4 movie, I feel like the franchise is just cursed at this point and the MCU would be better off having them be additions in future MCU entries as opposed to a new franchise within the MCU for them to build their timelines around. Maybe if they do that and they get some popular traction, they can make a new origin that introduces MCU Doom into the mix and it won't be a cursed project. That would be a good foundation to start a Fantastic 4 franchise in the current MCU and a great way to gauge viewer interests versus the choices in casting they make for the characters. If people dislike the actors and their performances, they can just be written off and exchanged out as multiverse variants until a solid selection of the fantastic 4 team has amalgamated. Then Marvel can just run with that and people would fucking love it. Basically imagine this whole MCU phase having minor roles given to the team and its members. They use this like a trial run to find the most beloved people to bring these characters to life.. then finally introduce the official 616 team to the MCU with a mainline entry beginning a new Fantastic 4 trilogy or something. It would be really cool to see some MCU shit with the council of reeds or his kids or maybe even some doppelganger hijinks with the Makyr. I'd love to see more with Galactus and the silver surfer.. but only time will tell how things play out. Especially considering Jonathan Majors might get canned as Kang coming right out of the gate into the Kang arc of this multiverse phase.
All shapeshifters are vastly inteligent. Mystique is a talented detective, hacker and actress. As do the purple suite guy from DC. I think Chamaleon Boy is also smart in some field, 'cause his father is rich as hell and payed a privileged education for him. Reed is a science genius. They can shift various types of cells inside their bodies into neurons and have extra brains. Shapeshifting is the smartest superpower to have.
