Good morning John IF you listen at 00:07 I clearly state that I'm waiting on the parts to come in. Also most of the parts have been readied for easy removal. So like I stated it's just a quick overview and I went too fast. I'll do better on my next video. Thanks for watching and stay safe😷👍
I actually just noticed that there is a picture of the oil pump orientation on the bottom of the saw. Its in the 9:00 position in the video. Also there are 2 T-27 bolts that I forgot to mention in the video. They are on the underside of the handle.
Dave:...uuuh there goes that one... Dog:....yay...Dave playing go fetch...woof woof Dave ...I got you the cover plug back...are you happy? Dave:...shurrup dog....the dog won't just learn how to do an oil pump replacement... Dog: ...huh???....just throw it again Dave...:)
I apologize JS. I keep a large bin of assorted screws and bolts. I just grabbed one that fit and made the video. I failed you. Sorry about that. Stay safe 🍺😷👍
Sorry Ken. Worm drive under the driven part of the clutch. Only oils when the chain is spinning. It did and does work it clearly shows it. Thanks for commenting.
@@ZombieDaveAZ Apparently this is a different saw than my 025. On my 025 the worm gear has a rod that hooks on to a slot in the clutch drum.Apparently you have a newer model saw.
Sir guess again.I have been working on Stihls for close to 20 years.Your worm gear did not have the lever attached to the slot in the clutch drum. The marking on the clutch drum was apparent. Sir you made a mistake. Own up to it. I looked for a difference in the oiling system and the 025 and the MS250 are identical. Admit it.
@@kenskip1 Ill admit that I clearly said I was waiting on the new part to come in. Ill admit that this was an informative video. Ill admit I have not been working on stihls for 20 years. Ill also admit that I think you may have glossed over the beginning and didnt catch it all in the disassembly the arm that comes attached to the new worm drive is broken. Shall we continue this youtube pissing contest? Couple old dudes with nothing better to do?
...hmmm...I learnt a couple things I liked....only thing that I didn't like was knowing how pissed you were when you had to disassemble again to put the worm drive you forgot to put on back...!...:)
