Cannot wait to be zipping around Europe in this thing! It’ll be nice to actually have a study level working aircraft where all the screens and buttons do something instead of the dreaded Inop.
Just happy to see a module release with wing flex! PMDG 737 will be lots of fun to look at that wing view. Great job with your videos and presentation!
I wish I knew as much about this game/flying as U. I really want to get into the game and tried numerous times but it always goes wrong. Iv played the tutorial and all sorts but still can't fly properly lol great video
Have you try or see then speed brake is armed then you land and left or right wheel touch down first shall speed brake be activated that should work did in FSX
Hello, I need some advice please, I bought a PMDG 737-700. I use Simbrief to create a flight plan, I have prepaid AIRAC. I enter FLP into FMC according to perhaps hundreds of instructions from RU-vid.....after the start everything is fine. until I turn on the autopilot, I have LNAV and VNAV on, and the plane still does not fly according to the flight plan indicator, more precisely, it has an effort to lean, and the left or right are so small that the plane flies almost straight. There is no setting to hold the direction when the flight plan is activated....on other machines, this did not work for me, please if you know what I am doing wrong let me know....thank you very much.
awsome vid, super clear. How does one go about choosing waht time off aproach to do? Should i just do what simbrief tell me to do? so used to ils that everything else seems off, thanks.
just downloaded 737 yesterday and watched your videos extremely helpful , question years ago i purchased from pmdg their manuals for 737 NGX they should work in this version ? checklists Etc?
Really enjoyed this set of videos - Thanks for providing them. I have a weird issue. The pilot's yoke doesn't move when I move the yoke but the First Officer's does. Any thoughts?
You're welcome! Is the yoke set to the full left position? I've heard a few saying they've had that in the last 24hrs which is very weird - not sure what to suggest tbh!
@@dengladesmiley5467 indeed! You may get different routes made with simbrief but you'll have to work around any missing waypoints/airways if they pop up
How are you liking the engine sounds? Spool ups, reverse roar, starting them up, etc. Should I expect satisfying engine sounds or am I gonna have to get a sound mod from ftsim?
Good question! Hopefully you've been able to catch a few live previews I've been doing with it - the engine sounds are awesome! Spool up and TOGA especially are so good
@@BritishAvgeek I’ve watched all your streams so far. Yeah I noticed toga and spool up is nice. It can sometimes be hard to hear though through watching another video. Glad to hear you’re enjoying them though!
@@christianmacdonald7468 yeah, the sounds are very nice so I'm sure you won't be disappointed. The beta preview build I have still doesn't have things like trim wheel sounds but that's being added too
Hi british avgeek, great video, I'm confused about the Localizer part though, you put 326.0. I'm flying in the United states and my LOC is 110.75, the lowest it can go is 190.0, what do I do with that or am I doing something wrong.
Which file do I put the wx file in on the 737 ? Obviously you put your PMDG flight plan into flights plans folder but just want to know where you put the wx file? Cheers
Have you try ILS CAT 3 at any airport how accurate is Autolanding in MSFS? in FSX its very accurate ILS very close to center of runway then standard planes in FSX cant do that
@@BritishAvgeek In FSX I used more autoland my joystick was to sensitive, but in msfs I has better equipment and do most of times manual landing like in real pilot does, but if a plane can do perfect autolanding its quality of the plane at cat 3
Hey, how do you control the thrust reversers? I have a button for it on my HOTAS X which works with any other MSFS aircraft (Press the button, HOTAS throttle full forward to engage reverse thrust) but it doesn't work for the 737. I also can't do it manually by dragging the levers with my mouse.
