The amount of detail they've put into this is insane. Having been at EBBR just over a month ago it does feel very realistic especially close to the terminal at the gates where you'll spend most of the time setting up or on the turnaround. Number 1 airport in MSFS and a great review as always. Arriving at the gate seems so real compared to every other airport in MSFS. It’s the workers at ground level moving; the guy controlling the gate; the movement of people walking in the terminal; sitting in seats and even moving (probably not visible from the cockpit); the terminal being full of people again all visible from the cockpit, that really brings this airport to life like no other developer has done. Hopefully ALL developers will take this on board and update their airports to have people Iike here so finally airports have life. It’s really going to be hard flying into or out of every other airport now!!!
Great review, enjoyed the depth of it! This is truly a masterpiece, I love how devs like Jo are pushing the boundaries forward! Parallax effects are really underrated, when used well such as here, it's sooo much better than opaque textures! Great to use for side buildings etc. I do hope the tower interior will be added, feels like this airport deserves that, given the attention to details elsewhere.
Superb airport, I didn't realise just how fantastic Brussels is modelled either since the World Update. I spent an hour in VR visiting the Palace of Justice, the Atomium and the Church of the Sacred Heart. That was all in the drone cam, I haven't actually flown here yet. Plan to fly my little Cessna here from Llyd over the weekend!
Most detailed review so far and great video. You missed one system and that are the hazard warning lights for ground personal that show green when safe, yellow when there is wind and red when it's storm or snow. :-) Rest spot on.
This is true. This review took me longer than any other (about 12 hours) and the video's already longer than I would like (most people only watch about 3 minutes of these videos), so I decided to quit while I was ahead!
Great review and great work from Aerosoft! benchmark airport for any scenery developer! An info for you: avoiding snow inside the terminals is very easy! The developer needs to separate the inside objects (chairs, floors, desks, people and so on) from the outside one. When placing them in the sim, for each object you can choose to apply a "noSnow" property (snow is applied by default). This thing and the occluder to avoid raining inside the terminals are pretty much bacis stuff (and any developer should pay attention to this!)
Prediction: Aerosoft's Brussels (EBBR) makes FilbertFlies' Top Ten list for 2022 (and I haven't even watched more than half the video yet).

Thanks for yet another great review! Now with the PMDG 737 finally released which I've been waiting for, I'm planning to buy some high-quality airports and guess this one is next up. Since I'm doing all my flying in Europe, I'm only interested in European airports. I'm also doing all my flying online on Vatsim. For this reason, I very much prefer airports without static aircraft models. If they are there, I at least want an option to get rid of them. It wasn't mentioned if this airport comes with static aircraft models? Didn't look like it which is great if that's true. What other nice European airports able to handle 737s do you recommend? Thanks again in advance for your input and this great review!
No, no static aircraft with this one. In terms of other good European airports, off the top of my head, Edinburgh, Glasgow and Athens immediately spring to mind. For others, I recommend watching my Top 10 Airports of 2021 and 2020 videos. I'm not hunting for views, I just know there are loads of awesome airports that I've forgotten about 😂

Great to hear no static models found in the Brussels scenery 👍 Thanks for the tips of those other airports and about the other videos you mention, I already watched them but figured lots of things happened since you made them 😊 Now with the recent releases of amazing airliners for MSFS, maybe you could do an updated video on suitable airports 😉
Thanks a lot for this detailled review. I have just purchased and installd this scenery. But it seems like the interior is missing in my scenery. All the fine details are missing. What do I have to do? Do I have to change my SIM settings in a certain way? Please let me know if you can. Thank you
Looking at your systems specs and settings and how well it runs on your pc there is something SERIOUSLY wrong with mine. Mine preforms far worse it can’t even run on medium settings in a 777 at JFK no mods. If anyone know how I can fix this PLEASE let me know, my system specs are: 17 11700, 3070ti, 16gb ram, 2tb storage, (ither a 750 or 850 w power supply) thx
I wish I could give you an answer to this. Some people have great results with lower end systems, some have great systems and stutters all the time. Mine's very up and down - it has good days and bad days and I'm afraid I have no answers other than playing with your settings.
