Did you use thermal pads instead of the pink paste on the components around the CPU and GPU for the reassembly?

Hi! Im interested on upgrading to a new laptop and was wondering what wattage the GPU is. Been comparing this a lot to the Zephyrus G15, Strix Scar 15, and the GE66. Was wondering which one I should eye on getting for maximum Gaming performance, being that NVIDIA is clearly not giving enough information on their spec sheets since the Max-Q and Max-P terms aren't being used anymore.

Hi, Thx for the video. Desktop RTX cards have HDMI 2.1 but looking at MSI websites pictures it seems GS66 Stealth only have HDMI 2.0, could you confim?

We usually plug in when we're using gaming laptops. I'd like to see some of that huge battery space get repurposed to facilitate better cooling of the cpu & gpu, personally.

The one matchs pin hole on the bottom cover are CMOS reset.

I got last years 2070s is it possible to swap to the rtx3080 from this model to my last year model. Can i swap anythin new from it to mines?

No, CPU and GPU are both soldered onto the Board. The only things you can swap are SSD, RAM, W-lan Chip and the battery.

@@86Tony No, that wouldn't Work either (you had to rip out the CPU and GPU Chips), you see Laptops are Kind of desinged to work with the given components. When you could swap the GPU to let's say the mentioned 3080. The Laptop could Not bei Able to handle the additional Heat or the Wattage of the new CPU. I even think the different sizes between the Ampere and Turing Laptop Chips could complicate Things even further (e.g. the lanes on the Motherboard or the sizes of Heatpipes and Copperplates). Laptops are specifically made for the available components and the tradeoffs that are made to house such powerfull components.

What's with the GPU-Z results? No way a laptop 3070 is going to have a texture fill rate of nearly 550 GT/s! My overclocked desktop 3080 only has 528 GT/s. 426 TMUs on the 3070? pffffft...
