2022 has a lot of upgrades, really glad I didn’t purchase the previous model (still amazing) but this one is on point all the way down to the color, zipper updates, power cable cut outs and, new mesh pockets! Well done.

@@samirkazimov5992 love it and highly recommend. Goo weight. Good size. Good durability. Mines been perfectly fine in heavy rain and snow

Does it still have enough screen on the roof for star gazing? Thank you.

All good points by others.. especially the ventilation point on the vestibule door.. if the rain isn't falling vertically, wouldn't it get in? plus the use of lighter fabrics / materials makes me think the updates are more focused on competing with the ultralight tents on the market and less to do with durability. Though it comes down to what your preference is.. and use.. I just purchased a HH NX2 and at first I was in regret of my choice.. but after viewing the videos and looking at the specs of the new HH, I'm content with my choice. The weight cut results in less bulky and smaller / thinner components.. but i'd rather carry the extra pound of weight and have comfort in knowing it's a little more rugged and durable. My only question is regarding the seam tape again.. was the stitching style and sealant on the nx2 fly that bad that they went back to the seam tape??

I do like that fly colour though! 👍😍

Unclear whether this new edition of Hubba includes footprint or not. I assume not, but it's good to be clear with these things.

Hey I’ve got this 2022 version on order(since I HAD to sell it, now I’m missing it) and it “doesn’t” come with a footprint. But for an extra 50-60 bucks I can have one. What a croc. At these prices it should be free

Can the Hubba NX be pitched flysheet first?

Hi! After set up and then How can I folding tent poles? It is not like X style poles, one pole system.

Those slot in Y connectors look more reliable the fine screws in the modern one.

I've spent days scrubbing off the flaking seam tape that fell in my tent like dandruff so I could reseal it with Gear Aid Seam Grip. I thought I'd done a great job and then the tap starts going on the fly and I'm going to have to repeat the process. Dude that was a bad choice for construction of a high priced tent.

Just in time. I am in the market to replace my aging Marmot Tungsten 2P. When do we expect it to be available?

I’ve got one on order here in southern Ontario and the outfitter says they have some coming in March/April/May & June. So they must be expecting good sales this spring. My order is coming in March.

1:25 how are you able to reach this attachment point? 1:37 how to attach the wires to the tent correctly? how do you pack it up afterward? This is more of an advert than actual instructional video....

I'm worried that for the sake of getting the tent as light as possible new Hubba Hubba lost few very nice features. Worsen airflow inside, no way to adjust stakes attachment points any more. And plus tent is now less suitable for summer trips

I 100% agree. I just purchased this new version and have my doubts about the ventilation in the rain fly door. I also wish they kept the stake adjustment points. I'm considering returning and getting a Big Agnes Copper Spur HV UL2. I think I'm going to give the hubba hubba 2 another trial run before returning it though. Hopefully this time I will get to see some rain and then get to see if the rain fly vent on the door allows water to get into the tent. That would be a huge negative for me.

Not having a connector to the main pole system for the middle pole is not good. In here two people holding ends and attach the tent body to it. But if it's only one person then this is not as easy as it's shown in this video.

I've read/heard several references -- some by MSR itself -- to "new" or "more" gear loft pockets, but in this video, the "intro" video, and another, earlier promo video -- ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-W52HE4gi8jQ.html -- I see only the same two gear loft pockets that the current Hubba Hubba NX has (two triangular pockets over the doors.) ??? Seems like a lot less mesh in the 2022 version, although the new addition of the mesh "roof" is nice. Thinking of those stifling August mid-Atlantic nights . . . :O That vent, oriented diagonally, on the fly door . . . I dunno. Useable if it's raining? The vent on the NX version, being horizontally oriented, can usually remain open with no fear of rain getting inside, unless the wind is truly blasting sideways. I notice they've gone back to a more traditional-style stuff sack; I've never cared much about the manufacturer's stuff sacks, anyway, because I only use them when my tents are being stored at home in between trips. But a lot of people seemed to rave about the drawstring, sort-of-duffle-bag thing that MSR did with the current NX. I like that the ridge pole is no longer attached to the pole assembly. I like the new tent zippers. I like the 10 fewer ounces ;) :) although I do appreciate the beefy toughness of the current NX. Worth replacing my current, immediately-prior-generation NX? Tough call. But I guess I have some time to think about it, since the 2022 version is out of stock at the moment.

I work at REI. I have tried numerous tents, this has become my go-to tent. I like it for all the same reasons everyone else. Lightweight without being fragile, easy to set up, functional. If you are one of the few who buys one with poles that may give splinters, or taped seams that came undone, I made a video showing an easy fix: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-G5dh8XhPRAM.html&ab_channel=PhilAnderson
