Course Description
Mt Penang parkrun is a 2 and a half lap course. Starting in Mt Penang Gardens on the bridge you will head out into the gardens which showcases native plants surrounded by an environment teeming with wildlife and waterfowl. You will veer right onto the path which takes you downhill under the bridge. Take your first left and head down the path with a nice lake to your left. Go around a small cul-de-sac, then head back to the main path and turn left back up towards the event park. Follow the paths and you will leave the gardens through a gate where you will follow the marked path through another gate and towards a turnaround point. You will reach a closed gate with a witches hat in front of it, indicating to turn around here and head back to the gardens. Lap 1 is complete when you pass back through the first gate and turn left to start lap 2. Lap 2 is the same as lap 1.
At the end of lap 2 you will turn left again for one last loop of the gardens under the bridge, this time not taking path to the cul-de-sac, instead heading straight up the path and turning right to head back to the bridge and finish line.
Unfortunately dogs are not allowed at this event.
