➡️Stan and Rhonda from Over The Hill Adventures continue their RV adventure in South Dakota. They leave Custer State Park and take a long 35 minute travel day to Mount Rushmore KOA Resort at Palmer Gulch in Hill City, South Dakota. In this episode, they visit Jewel Cave National Monument and do the Scenic Tour that takes them up and down 740 stairs inside the cave. Stan finds a shortcut to Hill City and they take their bikes for 30 miles on the @RailstoTrailsConservancy Mickelson Trail from Hill City to Mystic, an abandoned gold mining town. This section is one of the most beautiful sections of the Mickelson Trail. After a long bike ride they take an opportunity to go and explore the historic town of Keystone, SD. They were surprised on how small Keystone actually is with a population of 240! They end their day at the Profile View Turnout where one can view the profile of the George Washington sculpture from Mount Rushmore. They have high hopes of running into mountain goats like their friends Kristina and David did from @Ourrvlifechange just days before.🐐
