With bo3 direct challenges coming in the next update, I think you should do a meta match up. Explore how one deck does against other meta decks, explain play and sideboard strategies, what cards to look out for, know when to just concede, etc. You could do it vs your second account or even other mtga streamers. I think a comprehensive video with your explanations would be fun to watch.

It's pretty unlikely to draw it since you usually run 1 or 2 copies... and he didn't draw that many extra cards

Really enjoying your content. It's nice to see a player that is pretty mindful about trigger order, and other important but often overlooked tactics. I also much appreciate these precon deck rebuilds as a F2Per; still pretty impossible to build a lot of the more interesting decks out there, so it's refreshing to see some other options. Would definitely enjoy seeing more of your brews that I'm sure will take the meta by storm.

Hi LVD! Thank you for the starter deck series. My favorite is the RB act and sac deck because it was my first starter deck. Now that I have a competitive standard deck, I would like to see more meta game videos like the Esper midrange one (saw it live and was hype!).

Great deck! I tried it out in the casual queue and went 4-1. In the 5th match, I got an Ajani's Pridemate up to 24 counters before my opponent (playing Mono-Red, so no destroy creature spells) conceded. I really appreciate them being a good sport and playing that long. :-)

So as not to mislead anyone, I should mention that I put in 1x Benalish Marshal, 1x Legion's Landing, and 1x Unbreakable Formation in place of 2x Pride of Conquerors and 1x Leonin Vanguard because I didn't have the latter cards.

I've especially enjoyed the draft videos. My last draft, I couldn't get focused and ended up playing five colors. It went 3-3, and I'm not complaining, but two of the matches were very close. Who doesn't have room to improve upon drafting?

This deck is lovely and i'm interested in farming my constructed with it. Now, how would you go about putting some rares and mythics on it? I got some Legion's Landing, and all that jazz. Is Ixalan's Binding a good card for it? Lexodon? What about trying to go anti-red and placing two lifelinkers instead of Adanto? The Lifebinder Cleric or Bishop Vampires seems good, but the Bishop dies to shock, while the Cleric requires a lightning strike. Keep up the good work!

This is a a very friendly upgrade guide to newcomers. The only change I would have made is adding Divine Intervention, Legion's Landing, or Dawn of Hope, but not everyone would have access to those cards. Thanks for sharing this guide!

@@danilosilva7032 I run one copy Ajani, adversary of tyrants. You can use Dawn of Hope/Legions Landing to keep making blockers to protect Ajani until he ulitimates. Then get Divine Intervention to make a constant stream of Angels every turn. He's useful in this deck because he can pump up your small creatures, or bring them back from the graveyard.

@@danilosilva7032 I run 2x Dawn of Hope, 2x Divine intervention. Dawn will help with Card Draw and help you stack the board with 1/1's. Divine Intervention is your late-game finisher as you can flood the board with 4/4 flyers. I only have 1 copy of Ajani as he is helpful, but not essential. Good luck! :D

This lifegain aggro is simular to the deck which I build and used to climb to plat! Although I cut vanguards and put Angels, so I guess its more of a midrange then aggro. And I agree completely, tactical advantage deck is pretty much hopeless. I wonder how many games have you gone through to grt a winning match...

What are your thoughts on a few memorial to glorys in this deck (maybe you don't want any tap lands)? Has pride of conquerors been better than unbreakable formation or make a stand for you?

We really want to avoid taplands and we wouldn't be using it very often. Can't say for sure which finisher is better.

Good rule of thumb is replace a card with the same mana cost and/or does a similar thing in the deck. For example History of Benalia makes 2 tokens and it costs 3 mana, so it can replace some copies of the 3 mana token makers. Unbreakable formation is a finisher that comes in for devastating attacks, so it can replace pride of conquerors (although I prefer pride personally). Venerated Loxodon is a mid game card that gives board advantage depending on how many other creatures you have out already, so it can replace angelic exaltation (or possibly Leonin Warleader). Legion's Landing is a 1 drop that adds lifelink and resilience against removal to your board, so it can replace hunted witness (or possibly healer's hawk).

Why did the leonin warleader get the angelic bonus if the other two tokens are also attacking? It's no longer attacking alone, correct?

It is the only creature when it's first declared as an attacker, which is when Exaltation checks to give the bonus.

This is a very very small thing, but just curious - why run 3 and 3 of both sworn companions and queen's commission instead of 4 and 2? Since they're identical cards.

It makes your deck more likely to play around Deputy of Detention. (also Unmoored Ego, but we didn't really care about that card anyway).

When playing Angel I always want easy ways to gain 5 life outside of having to use the ability. That would most likely involve us having a big board and Exaltation, at which point we're probably already winning. Getting to 6 mana for the ability is not easy in a low curve deck like this, and we don't just want a 3/3 Flying for three.

Can't speak for legend but as someone who also has a mono white exaltation deck (albeit with a lot more rares and mythics) I run pride of conquerers as well and it serves me well. It's great for those games when you don't draw into exaltation and more often used as a combat trick with your blockers that you leave behind since you're attacking with one. It makes your defense much stronger than it appears. I also run that new RNA card with addendum that gives indestructible and +1/+1 and vigilance if cast on main phase.

It still plays well with our go-wide theme and can be necessary as a finisher if we don't draw Exaltation. In some spots it lets us deal a lot more damage than Exaltation could.
